You headed over towards the ladies room and thankfully, no one was there. You went over to one of the sinks and started splashing cool water over your face, trying to hide some of the redness from your face.

Once you were done, you patted your face with a towel and threw it in the basket for later wash.

You took a few deep breaths and looked at yourself in the mirror. "Y/N, he didn't mean to make you embarrassed in front of the entire school." You gave yourself words of comfort as you left the restroom, unexpectedly bumping into someone.

"Ah, I'm—" Before you could apologize, you looked up and it was Taehyung.

"Oh, hi." You looked down in hopes that your face didn't show the results of you crying.

"Is everything okay? You look like a mess." He lifted your chin up with his finger.

Shoot.

"No, I'm not." You started to feel wetness start to blur over your eyes again, but before you could cry, you were pulled into a tight hug.

"Y/N?"

"Yes, Taehyung?" You mumbled against his sweater.

"Jungkook didn't mean to make you feel like this. He really does have genuine feelings for you. Heck, he talks about you all night, it gets so annoying." You felt his chuckles vibrate against your body and that made you smile.

"It's okay," was all you could reply with.

He pulled away from the hug and looked at you with a serious look, "Don't give up just yet."

[Next Day]

Since today was one of your free days, you didn't have any classes and that's what made you feel relieved. You didn't have anything planned, so you decided to sleep in just a bit more.

After two hours of sleeping in, you woke up and scrambled out of bed.

Joy wasn't there again to your luck as you just put on something simple and headed out to get some fresh air.

Just as you walked out into the outdoors, you noticed that you hadn't switched out your slippers. You looked down at your shoes and sighed before looking back up the stairs to see if it was worth going back to get your shoes.

"Cute penguin slippers," Jungkook said as he came from the other direction.

Before you could react to anything, your heartbeat started beating faster than before.

"S-Shut up." was all you could say and you wanted to slam your head against the wall.

"Why are you stuttering? Did you possibly catch feelings for me overnight?" He leaned against the wall and crossed his arms over his shoulders with a little head tilt.

"N-No. I just didn't want you to see my slippers. Only valuable people can see them."

He took a few steps towards you until he stood almost on top of you.

"Am I not valuable?"

You couldn't answer his question as you just stood there staring at his face. You've never been this close to his face. Actually, you have.

You moved your eyes from his and down towards his nose and towards his pink plum lips and they started to say words you didn't want to hear.

"You like what you see?" You could feel his breath on your lips and you took a step back.

"What are you doing here anyway?"

"I wanted to invite you to a date. Just the two of us." He smiled and placed his hands in his pockets.

"And why should I go with you?"

"Because I like you."

You felt your heart beat faster and you tried to level out the heartbeat so he couldn't hear it.

"What's in it for me?"

"You get a free meal, plus you get to spend time with the most handsome man on campus."

"I've seen better," You mumbled.

"What was that?"

"Nothing." You just gave him a smile in return.

"So, will you accept my offer?"

"Maybe. I'll see if my schedule isn't booked." You said.

"If your schedule isn't booked, I'll be here around 8PM." He turned away from you and headed for the doors to leave the ladies dormitory.

"Wait— Isn't 9:00 our curfew before bed?"

"We'll work things out." He gave you a wink before leaving and you just smiled and thought that he wasn't that bad after all.
