"Did you find the flag yet?" You hovered over Jungkook's shoulder to see what he was looking at. You were so short, you felt embarrassed.

"Of course not. That's why I'm working with you." He immediately turned around and your nose was brushing against his chest.

"I-I uhm... right. I guess." You took a step back and tried to avoid your flustered cheeks and as you tried to do so, someone else already noticed them.

From the corner of your eye, you could see a small smile form on the corners of Jungkook's lips. It kind of made you relieved. Jungkook wasn't picking on you.

[Upstairs]

"Jungkook, we're never going to find the stupid flag." You sighed and kept rummaging through the hotel's drawers only to be looking at emptiness.

"Shut up, will you? Your discouragement is not helping." He was doing the same thing you were doing except he kept looking back to see if anything would appear.

"We checked everywhere, so why not give up?"

He chuckled and pushed back his hair. "Giving up is for cowards and as you know, I'm not one."

"Clearly."

It took a few hours but you and Jungkook ended up finding no orange flag. It kind of disappointed you but you didn't really care.

You and Jungkook were sitting down the hall, taking a break as everyone else went scurrying to look for the flag. You felt yourself starting to get a headache.

You rubbed your temples as best as you could but it wasn't working as usual.

"You okay?" Jungkook asked. You turned to look at him and shook your head, "My head is pounding."

You rubbed your temples continuously to make it die down but a gentle hand wrapped around your head, pulling you down on something hard and muscular. It was Jungkook's shoulder.

"Just rest for a bit, hm?" He whispered silently and you nodded. You heard his breathing and smelled his scent. You took it all in and couldn't help but let a smile push past your lips.

You didn't know what's gotten into Jungkook lately. You were starting to assume if he was pranking you to make fun of you later on or if he really was just being a temptation and grabbing all the girls his eyes land on.

[After Class Activity]

Your classmates all gathered around your professor and the two winners ended up being Taehyung and his group. You clapped and smiled as Taehyung kept squealing all around.

After the winners were announced and they received their award, you decided to go down to the cafè and get your normal iced vanilla drink. You hadn't had that in a while so you felt excited inside.

Just as you entered, Seulgi wrapped her arm around your shoulder and pulled you into her side. "What's up?"

"Nothing. Just getting something from the cafeteria. You wanna join?" You asked.

"Sure, why not?" She smiled and you both shared jokes while hopping in line.

[Cafeteria]

"Can I talk to you about something serious?" Seulgi asked and you quickly nodded.

"What's up, girl?" You sipped on your vanilla iced coffee.

"Well... you know that Jungkook and I have been dating over a year now, yeah? But I think he's distracted with something else as if another girl was crossing his mind."

You frowned. You were starting to feel bad for Seulgi. He is a temptation, so why would she fall for his little tricks and games?

"I was wondering.... if you could maybe ask him if everything was okay between me and him... if he has someone else on his mind."

"Why me?"

"You two seem close enough to be called each other's best friends?" She raised her eyebrows with a confused look.

You tried to play it cool and went along with it. "Yeah, sure. We're the best of friends, hahah........"

"So will you?!" She almost jumped out of her seat.

"I'll see what I can do." You smiled and you two went back to talking about random jokes like nothing ever happened.

[Night; Back Lounge]

You couldn't get any sleep so you decided to get some fresh air on the back balcony.

You stepped out and felt the cold air push past your skin and body and you shivered. "Ah, so cold."

You stood in front of the ledge and admired the beautiful view of snow and lights. The streets looked pretty and glowy-like.

"It is a bit chilly." A voice from behind said. You immediately turned around. Jungkook.

"Oh, hi... sorry I didn't mean to invade your privacy like that. I didn't see anyone come up here."

"It's okay," He stood beside you, close enough to where the heat of his body was rubbing off against you. "So why are you out so late?" He asked.

"Couldn't sleep. You?" You rested your chin on the ledge.

"Me neither." He sighed and looked up at the night sky full of stars.

You took this chance to ask about him and Seulgi. "How's things with you and Seulgi?"

He turned his head to look at you and he scoffed. "Why should I tell you?"

"Because I guess I care?" You said and he gave you a serious look before he spoke, "It's okay... I think I should break up with her, though."

"Why?!" You blurted out.

"There's someone else I'm thinking about." He turned to look at you and you looked at him.

It can't possibly be me, right?

You looked at each other and you saw him lean in just a bit. You saw his eyes gazing at your lips and it made your cheeks heat up rapidly.
