Shawn and I pulled up to my house. I couldn't help the smile that spread across my face as I opened the door of the car myself, not even wanting to wait for Shawn to do it. I quickly jumped out of the car and shut the door behind me before jogging up to the door. I didn't have my keys so I had to bang on the door with my open palm.

"Mom!" I yelled, feeling excited as I stood at the front door waiting.
"Leila! Your stuff!" Shawn called from the car, I looked back to see he was grabbing my purse and the iPad.
"Sorry, I-" I was cut off by the door opening behind me.
"Oh, my baby!" I heard a familiar voice. I gasped as I quickly whipped around seeing mom.
"Mommy!" I cheered before throwing myself at her.
"Oh, my precious baby girl." She cried as she held me in her arms.
"I missed you so much, momma." I sighed as I hugged her a while longer.
"I missed you too, my dear." She said before pulling away from me, tears in her eyes.

"Lele!" I heard another familiar high pitched voice. I looked behind my mom to see Drew running towards me. I quickly dropped to my knees next to mom and held my arms open. Only for Drew to run roughly into me.
"Oof!" I grunted as we collided.
"Leleeee." He said excitedly as he wrapped his little arms around the back of my neck. I held his small body in my arms as I hugged him. Right behind my head I heard the huff of an inhaler and couldn't help but chuckle. I pulled away from Drew to catch him with his inhaler in his mouth.

"I missed you, buddy." I smiled, feeling a sting in my eyes.
"I missed you too Le." He giggled after removing his inhaler form his mouth.
"Babe? Your things, James almost took off with them." I heard Shawn's voice approaching. I looked back to see him with my purse and the iPad.
"Oh, Shawn honey it's so great to see you again." My mom chimed as she held open her arms. Shawn just walked into them and hugged her quickly before turning back to me.
"Hi, Shawn!" Drew exclaimed running away from me up to Shawn.
"Hi, Drew! How have you been little buddy?" Shawn asks as he kneels down to Drews height.
"I've been great! I've been listening to your music every day!" Drew said excitedly.
"Oh yeah, we both now know the lyrics to your song Nothing Holding Me Back." Mom sighed.
"Really?! Can you sing it for me?" Shawn asks, a huge smile on his face. I watched as Drew started singing the song to Shawn while he bopped his head back and forth listening intently. I couldn't help the smile that spread across my face. As I was watching Shawn's gaze wandered over to me. As soon as we locked eyes I felt my heart starting to beat a little faster. Shawn didn't lose his smile as I expected but instead gave me a small genuine smile. I can tell he was happy to be in this moment which was a surprise to me but none the less I gave him my own genuine smile in return.

"There's nothing holding me back!" Drew bounced around as he finished singing. I started clapping while Shawn and mom followed.
"That was amazing!" Shawn said turning his attention back to Drew. I took this moment to stand back up and walk over to them.
"I want to sing just like you one day!" Drew cheered.
"It sounds like you already can! Maybe you should be doing the concert later instead of me eh?" Shawn asks raising a brow.
"No way! I want you to sing! I like it better when you sing!"
"Alright but I think you're my favorite singer as of now," Shawn said before poking at Drews' stomach, making him giggle and cringe away. I just smiled at their interaction before leaning down and grabbing my things from Shawn's hands.

"Lele's my favorite and then you," Drew explained making me laugh.
"Leila, you sing?" Shawn asks looking up at me surprised.
"Uh yeah, you can catch my terrible performances every day in the shower." I scoffed jokingly.
"Now don't tempt me to start performing with you in there." Shawn winked at me. My eyes widened at his comment, making my mom giggle.
"Mom I-I'm hungry! We're hungry, we haven't eaten!" I said quickly before heading towards the kitchen.
"Oh, that's great! I just made breakfast, I knew you wouldn't have eaten before you came over since you just love your mommas cooking." My mom said excitedly before rushing past me to the kitchen.
