"Lock the door please," Shawn instructed Alice.
"Ok..." She agreed. I heard a faint clicking from the door and Shawn finally released me. I just quickly turned around and pushed past Shawn running up to Alice. She immediately opened her arms for me and I ran into them holding onto her close as I dropped my head on her bare shoulder as I gripped her dress in my hands and started to cry.

"Sh-She lied to me... She used me, Alice... She fucking used me!" I cried.
"I know, I know, I know..." She hushed me and she held me in her arms, petting my hair.
"Why..." I questioned in a high pitched voice, not fully able to control it.
"I don't know... I really don't, I'm so sorry." She sighed before resting her own head against mine.

After a moment to calm down, Alice just held me as I sniveled on her shoulder. Shawn was very tense and uneasy as he just stood across from us watching us for the past few minutes.

"I-I'll be back in a minute," Shawn said as he quickly walked past Alice and me out the room. I just sniffed as I watched him walk out. Feeling as if I wasn't in control of my body, I stepped forward to follow him but was quickly pulled back lightly by my forearm.

"N-No, I don't think that's smart if she's still out there, also we have to fix your cheek. Where's the nearest bathroom?" Alice asks.
"I'll show you..." I said in a hushed tone. Alice released my arm and I opened the door. But as soon as I did I watched as the crowded room was almost empty, a pile of people still heading for the front door. I saw flashes of lights from the ambulance coming in from the window.

As I was looking in the crowd I saw Camila standing off on the side, her arms crossed as she talked to someone else looking worried. I quickly started walking in her direction.

"L-Leila!" Alice said she grabbed my arms again but I just brushed it off this time and continued for Camila.

"I have no idea, I just hope she's ok..." I heard her clearer as I approached her. When she caught sight of me she gasped and quickly walked up to me.
"Leila, honey are you ok? I saw what happened what did that girl do to you?"
"I'll explain later, but have you seen Shawn?" I asked looking around the room.
"Oh my God you're cheek, you need to see that ambulance-"
"Camila! Please! Where's Shawn? I know he had to have asked you to make sure everyone got out safely..." I said.
"H-He went to the living room, it's cleared out now and he had paramedics take that girl in there..." She finally answered.
"Thank you," I said before I quickly walked towards the living room.

As I approached the large archway I saw a group of paramedics talking to Shwan. Thankfully he didn't see me and I had enough time to move out of sight and hide behind the wall. I peaked my head in watching as Shawn spoke to the medical team I then saw Jess sitting on a couch, her legs crossed looking annoyed as he arms were crossed. I resisted the urge to run in there and finish what I started.

"Thank you, my girlfriend just had gotten a scratch on her cheek but it's nothing some antibiotics and ice can fix right?" Shawn asked one of the men.
"Yeah that's shouldn't be a problem, but this one here took quite the beating, she should be set to go through, we've done what we can for her." The guy said. The group of men then started walking my way. I quickly snapped back from the wall and turned my back against it covering my wounded cheek just in case if they try to ask me any questions.

I watched as the men rushed out of the room one man glanced at me and I just gave him a small smile before they continued on. It wasn't until they were far enough that I looked back into the room from my original spot. Shawn had his arms crossed looking at Jess as if he was a disappointed father, ready to scold his kid. Jess didn't even look his direction but instead out the window to her left.

"What the actual fuck is wrong with you?" Shawn says, sounding annoyed.
"Me? Last I checked I wasn't the one attacking people..." Jess scoffed.
"Leila had every right to kick you ss, after what you did to her... to us..." Shawn defended me.
"Last I checked you loved me before you left me."
"I never loved you." Shawn huffed.
"Yeah right, you-"
"You were my replacement, you were the closest thing I had to Leila after she was gone... you were nothing to me but Leila 2.0," Shawn said firmly, making Jess stay quiet as she looked at him with a stern face.

"You were nothing without me," Jess said calmly.
"I obviously because of something without you." Shawn continued to insult her.
"Who inspired you to become who you are now huh?!" Jess says as she quickly stands up.
"Leila," Shawn answered.
"You hated her! After what she did to yo-"
"What I thought she did to me!" Shawn barked, making me and Jess jump.
"Sh-She never wanted to see you, she didn't really-"
"That's enough Jess! I know it's all bullshit!" Shawn yelled. Jess stayed quiet.
"Y-You were mine! She still left you! I was all you had and you were all I had!" Jess raised her voice.
"Leila didn't leave me, you separated us..." Shawn said narrowing his eyes at her.
"Because I was better! Shawnie, baby..." She chuckled as she reached out to touch Shawn but he quickly slapped her hands away in disgust.
"You think you can do better than me, Shawn?!" Jess yelled at Shawn.
"Jess... you lied to me, you hurt me. Leila's always been the one for me and you ruined it." Shawn spoke quietly as if he were about to cry. I felt my own heart breaking at the sound of it.

"Leila?! Seriously?! She left your ass! You had me! Not her."
"You're wrong!" Shawn growled, "You made me leave her... I loved her."
"Tch, love. You were, what 14? 15?" Jess said unenthused.
"I thought about her, every day after you told me to stop seeing her. I thought turning to you would be like I had her but you were just such an awful person... I never... ever... want to see your fucking face again, Jess." Shawn shook his head.

Jess just looked mad. She growled as she reached out and pushed on Shawn's chest. He didn't budge as she was hitting him over and over, pounding on his chest with her fists. She then looked up and grabbed the chain around his neck.

"Don't." He said in a firm voice, grabbing her hand. She just pulled on it and in one simple snap it broke off. She held the chain in her hand and Shawn seemed to have frozen in place. Jess pulled her hand out of Shawn's and threw the chain on the floor. She stomped her foot on it once before pushing past Shawn and started stomping my way. I just stepped away from the wall waiting for her. As soon as she reached me she just shot me a cold glare, me returning the favor before she quickly continued on towards the front door.

After that, I watched carefully as Shawn just looked at the broken necklace on the floor. He knelt down on one knee and started picking up the pieces. I took this moment to slowly step into the room and walk up to him. As I got closer I finally saw the infamous necklace Shawn tried so desperately to hide from me this entire time.

On the silver chain was a little silver guitar. It was that necklace I gave him all those years ago. I just smiled weakly as I got down on my knees in front of him. He then noticed me and looked up to meet my eyes. He smiled weakly at me as he held the old and broken necklace out in his hand.

"We can fix it." He said. I just smiled.
"We don't need to, we have something else to fix," I said as I put my hand over his.
"What's that?" He asks. I just move my free hand to his cheek.
"Us," I answered. Shawn dropped the broken pieces and wrapped his arms around my waist pulling me in and hugging me tightly. I hugged him in return as I rested my head on his shoulder.
"I-I'm sorry... I'm so sorry." Shawn started to sob. I felt my own tears forming in my eyes again.
"It's ok... we'll fix it," I whispered, feeling him squeeze me a little tighter.
