As Magnus walked into Starbucks, it became clear that his once auspicious trip had turned into a ginormous mishap. The warmth from inside Starbucks was starting to envelop Magnus. His face and hands tingling. There was no better feeling than warm coffee going down your throat in the middle of winter. A feeling that was not so good was having to wait in the long line behind a bunch of cranky people. Like Magnus, none of them had had their coffee, so if they were feeling as bad as he was, he'd thought it better it stay away. It really wasn't that he wasn't having a bad morning. God knew he has had mornings when he would wish he was dead from the constant pounding and ringing in his head. Magnus just had a bad feeling. Like something was going to go wrong. Almost like something was supposed to go wrong.

Magnus' phone buzzed in his pocket. He promptly pulled it out and checked the message. Being cordial, he typed a reply back.

 ALEXANDER  ❤❤❤

Hey, Magnus. We are out of coffee. I'll stop at the store on the way home.

Magnus

It's okay dear. I am getting coffee at Starbucks right now. I'll just go on my way back to the apartment. I Love you

ALEXANDER ❤ ❤ ❤

Okay, love.  See you later. Love you too.

There was only one person in front of Magnus in the line now. He began growing impatient, but before he could begin to calm down there was a loud thunder. The ground started shaking. It was getting hard for Magnus to breathe. It felt like the walls were caving in. No, it didn't just feel like that. The walls were actually caving in. Magnus panicked, and his world went dark.

Author's Note: This chapter wasn't as long, but I think I got my points across.
