"SAVANNAH WAKE-UP, hurry up and get out of bed!" Ruby my twin sister shouted as she barged into my room. "urgh" i replied quietly hoping that she didn't hear me. It was our first day at our new school and ruby always woke me up at 5:00am so i could make breakfast, as she took soo long to get ready.

She'd take an hour and a half just putting on her make-up and doing her hair, she drove me crazy! We may be twins but we are the complete opposite of eachother, Ruby was a popular cheerleader that all the boys loved, whereas i was the quiet girl that had very few friends.

I quickly glanced at the clock on table next to my bed, and realized i should get out bed before Ruby realised i still wasn't up.

I quickly put on some jean shorts and an oversized t-shirt, it was summer, my favourite time of year. I loved being able to wear shorts to school. I quickly brushed my hair so that the waves down to my waist fell naturally. Looking at myself in the mirror, i scrunched my face up at my reflection, knowing that no matter how hard i try Ruby would always look better.

The smell of coffee soon had ruby down the stairs in no time. She couldn't go anywhere unless she had a cup of coffee, and if she didn't get it, i would be the one to blame, even though she would be the one thats too lazy to make it herself.

"Savannah, come on we need to go quickly, i promised Elle that i'd meet her early so she she could introduce me to her friends" Ruby said in that annoying nagging tone of voice she does. I couldn't help but be slightly jelous of how she looked, she had highwaisted jean shorts on and a black studded bralet, her long, naturally straight, brown hair was in a fishtail plait pulled to the side of her head. She looked amazing.

"Okay, but as i was forced to make your breakfast, you better eat your fruit salad" i replied, my tone of voice showing that i was slightly annoyed at her.

"i'm not hungry," Ruby chimed in a happy voice, acting like she didn't notice i was annoyed, i knew she was only doing it to piss me off. I rolled my eyes at her knowing she'd see and decided not too reply as it would only piss me even more and we'd end up arguing.

She glared at me as she picked up her coffee and quickly drank it. Storming outside to the car i followed with the keys. We we're seniors in high school and our mom and dad had bought us a convertible beetle that we shared for our 16th birthday, but i mainly drove as Ruby refused.

We didn't see our parents much as they worked, but we didn't mind. They we're there when we needed them and that was all that mattered.

Our school was a five minute drive away, and the whole time i had to listen to Ruby singing to Carly Rae Jepson's Call me Maybe. That song is the most annoying song anyway without Ruby, who thinks she has an amazing voice, squealing the whole way through it. It was torcher.

We finally arrived and school and before i could turn off the engine Ruby was already out of the car and heading across the parking lot towards Elle, who was stood there with 2 of her friends. They all looked amazing. I rolled my eyes at the fact they didn't even notice my presence.

Elle was Ruby's bestfriend from when they met in our freshman year at our last high school, but Elle's dad got transferred so she had to move to Beverley Hills from Malibu last year. I can still remember them both crying for hours at the fact they were going to be apart.

it's not like they were gonna be on different sides of the world, they were gonna be an hour away frome eachother. I couldn't help but let out a little chuckle at the mere thought of Ruby and Elle  breaking down in the middle of the school cafeteria when Elle first broke the news. The made such fools on themselves.

Ruby finally managed to convince our mom and dad that it would be a good idea if we moved to Beverley Hills, because the school Elle went to meant she would be able to focus more on her grades, as she wouldn't be around her group of friends that she was always hanging out with instead of focusing on her studies.

Our mom and dad finally caved due to the fact Ruby promised she would focus on her grades and wouldn't go to parties and stay out 'til the morning whenever she wanted.

I didn't have a say in it at all. Although it didn't bother me too much, I do  have a bestfriend, Kaitlyn, that I would have to leave but we we're mostly focused on our studies so we didn't see much of eachother.

I wasn't too upset that I was leaving Kaitlin, i mean, it's not like i'm never going to see her again she promised she come and visit and I promised her i would go and visit her.

Although Kaitlyn, was my bestfriend, she was also the only person I could trust  and in actual fact she was my only friend. Apart from a couple of people that we're in my Biology class, but i'm sure they only spoke to me so i would help them as i was top of my class.

I was still sat in the car watching Ruby and Elle, full of excitement after not seeing eachother for soo long. It had been 30 minutes since we got here and I hadn't even noticed. I was too caught up in my thoughts.

It kills me to think i lost my sister. Before our freshman year, we were bestfriends. We did everything together and told eachother everything. It changed when we went to High School and Ruby became popular.

Now we can't even have a conversation without one of us getting annoyed or making a sarcastic comment. I never mention that i missed her though, she obviously didn't miss our old relationship.

As I got out of the car the bell rang and I couldn't help but feel butterflies in my stomach. I hated the fact I was starting a new school with no friends.
