I had been stood by the car for 20 minutes waiting for Ruby. She never told what her plans were until the last minute so i never knew what she was doing, i considered just going home but if i left Ruby with no lift she'd go mad at me.
5 minutes later my phone started to ring as i waited impatiently for my annoying sister, i didn't recognise the number but i answered anyway.
"Savannah, it's Ruby, i'm on Elles phone! I need the car, me and Elle are going shopping with some friends and i have to drive we will be there in 5 minutes, Thanks!" She hung up before i could answer.
"Looks like i'm walking home" I said to myself, i didn't mind though it was a beautiful day and a walk home would do me good. It just annoys me how inconsiderate Ruby is, she only cares about herself, she doesn't even like driving.
Ruby and some of her friends were walking towards me, when they reached the car i threw the keys at Ruby without saying a word and starting walking home. I couldn't help but smirk a bit as the keys hit Ruby right in the stomach then fell to the floor. I could see her roll her eyes at me but i just ignored it.
The walk home was great, the sun was beating down on me and i had my headphones in; blocking out the world. It was just the way i liked it.
Our house was right on the beach, when i got home i decided to go for a jog along the sand. I loved running, i always had but i had never ran along sand before. It would also give me a chance to have a look around, seeing as we had only just moved there i hadn't really had a chance to see anything.
I ran up to my room and threw on some shorts and a sports and headed out for a run. My music was playing and the sand felt warm on my feet. The feeling i got when i ran was amazing, i never wanted to stop. It always helped me clear my mind. Right now, i needed my mind too be clearer than ever, i couldn't stop thinking about Luke and we had only had one very short conversation.
I had been running non-stop for an hour and a half until i came to some rocks where the beach ended, i led down on the sand and stared at the sky.
This part of the beach was pretty much empty. except a few people walking towards the other end of the beach. I led there for 10 minutes before i decided to run home again. The sea looked beautiful as the sun shone down on it, i couldn't believe this was where i lived.
When i returned home Ruby still wasn't there, so i took a shower and then made myself some pasta. An hour later i heard the door open and Ruby walked in. She glared at me, probably still pissed of from earlier when i threw the keys at her, she never seemed to let go of even the smallest thing.
"Did you make me some dinner?" she asked bluntly.
"No, you weren't home so i figured you'd have something whilst you were out" I didn't even look at her as i spoke.
"Well obviously i didn't!" She said sarcastically. I could tell she was going to be a bitch for the rest of the night so i decided a walk would be good. I ran upstairs and put on some shorts and a small top. I grabbed some flip-flops and headed for the door.
For the second time today i went to the beach, however this time the sun was setting and i wasn't runnig. I sat on the down and watched the waves as they crashed against the sand. It was so peaceful, the beach was practically empty now.
I headed in the opposite direction to where i had ran earlier, and i sat on the rocks that ended the beach, well at least i thought they ended it. I look over and could see a small patch of sand big enough for about 3 people. I climbed over and there was no one else there. I wondered if i was the first person to find it, it was soo peaceful.
