The annoying sound my alarm woke me up at 5am. "Urghh! No!" I hit the snooze button and went back to sleep for 5 minutes. I was too tired to face Ruby straight away after last night.
When my alarm went off again, I jumped out of bed and into the bathroom to have a shower. The feeling of the water against my skin was amazing. I shut my eyes and immediately found myself thinking about Luke adn what had happened last night. I was seriously falling for him.
All I wanted to do was call Kaitlyn and tell her everything, but I didn't have time. I knew she was coming down on the weekend so it was gonig to have to wait.
I stepped out of the shower and brushed my teeth before returning to my bedroom. I put on some high-waisted shorts and a patterned top before blow drying my hair. I grabbed my sunglasses and flip-flops before heading downstairs to make breakfast.
"Good morning! Coffee?" Ruby seemed surprisingly happy this morning and had even made coffee. She must have forgotten about last night and i wasn't going to be the one to remind her.
"umm, yeah please!" I replied giving her a half smile.
"I just wanted to apologise for last night, i'm sorry for getting annoyed, it's just it's not like you to come home so late!"
"It's okay, is Elle picking you up today?"
"No, not today,"
"okay, well do you want some pineapple?" I asked as I walked towards the fridge. I hadn't eaten any dinner last night so I was seriously hungry. "No thanks!" I grabbed some pineapple and quickly ate it whilst sitting at the table in the kitchen. I drank my coffee whilst reading a magazine before I realized it was already time to leave.
I grabbed my bag, sunglasses, phone and keys before heading to the front door. "RUBY, IT'S TIME TO LEAVE!" I shouted as I was unlocking the door as she was upstairs and wouldn't hear me if I spoke normally.
Ruby came down the stairs and got into the car whilst I locked the door. It was too hot to have the roof up, so we put it down and made our way to school. We were both singing along to Trains Drive By the whole way. It was both of our favourite song.
We arrived at school and, like always, Ruby was gone before I had even turned off the engine, shouting as she went "See you later! Thanks for the lift!" I got out of the car and headed towards the doors.
As always, I went to my locker to get the books that I needed and put the ones I didn't away, and then headed to the library. I didn't have any homework to complete so instead I read my book, however today we were later than normal so I only had 5 minutes to read.
When I heard the bell, I headed to homeroom. I was one of the first people there so I went and sat in my seat. As the classroom started to fill up, I looked for Luke, but I couldn't see him anywhere.
I could see Kyle and the rest of his friends, but not him. I tried to forget about him, so instead I decided to plan what me and Kaitlyn could do on the weekend in my head. When I heard the bell go I still had nothing. I couldn't think of anything that we could do.
I grabbed my bag and headed to my first lesson; History. I didn't mind History and Luke was supposed to be in there aswell, so hopefully he would be in. I really wanted to see him.
I sat down in my seat with my books infront of me. I could hear the teacher rambling on about something but I couldn't focus. I was soo tired and kept thinking about everything not to do with History.
Then I noticed everyone was talking. I looked towards the front of the class and noticed the teacher had left the room. I lent my head against the desk, my eyes facing the book that was infront of me. I felt like I was going to fall asleep.
