The rest of the week was a drag. I didn't see much of Luke apart from in school when we had a few chats in class. I had seen Luke most nights this week at the beach. We would lay on the sand talking, getting to know eachother. I had also spent alot of time with Ruby and her friends which, normally, I would never even think of doing. We're so different. They all seem pretty nice, well except for Kate. She seems to just ignore me but it doesn't bother me that much.
My alarm woke me up and I immediately got out of bed for a change. I was soo excited it was Friday, I had soo much to look forward to. Seeing Luke, spending the whole weekend with Kaitlyn and the party tonight!
I jumped in the shower and let the water relax me. I washed my hair quickly and brushed my teeth before going back to my room to get dressed. I put on a pair of cut off denim jeans, and a patterend t-shirt. I dried my hair and left it natural so it was wavy. I put on some eyeliner, mascara and lipgloss before heading downstairs.
As I walked into the kitchen, Ruby was sat there ready to leave.
"Hey! If we leave now we will have time to stop in that diner we drive past for pancakes?" Ruby said with a cheerful smile on her face. "You want pancakes? What happened to the Ruby that wouldn't eat breakfast unless it was fruit because she'd get fat?" I said laughing.
"She misses sugar!" We both laughed and headed for the door. I grabbed my keys and phone before slipping on my flip-flops and leaving the house.
When we got to the diner, we both ordered pancakes with bananas, blueberries, lots of syrup and coffee. We ate whilst we chatted, laughing the whole time, like we used to. I loved having my sister back.
When we finished, we headed back to the car and drove to school with the roof down and music playing.
When we reached school, I headed to the library. Even though I started hanging out more with Ruby, I still went to the library as much as I could.
The day went pretty quick, Luke was in one of my lessons today but he sat on the other side of the class. He'd occasionally look my way and smile or mouth something to me, which I suppose was like talking.
When me and Ruby arrived home I sat in the front room waiting for Kaitlyn, when I got a text.
Hey! I'm 30 minutes away! You better me ready to party tonight! See you soon hotstuff! K xoxo
I grinned as I read the text, but I didn't have time to reply. I quickly ran to my room and started to tidy the small mess that was on the floor. Ruby was over at Elles so I had the house to myself, which was good as it meant I wasn't distracted from tidying.
Half an hour passed and my phone started ringing.
"Kait, where are you?"
"Uh i'm at your door! You really need a louder doorbell!" She said giggling.
"Oh sorry i'm coming now!" I hung up the phone as I ran down the stairs, opening the door. Kaitlyn was stood there holding a rather large suitcase. She never did travel light.
"How long are you staying a month?" I asked jokingly.
"Haha very funny!" She replied sarcastically. "So when's this party then?"
"I'm not sure, Ruby said she'd text me what time it is when she's spoke to Elle so i'm guessing we should start getting ready?"
"Sure! Could I use the shower?"
"Of course! I'm going in the upstairs one, so you could use the downstairs. There's clean towels in there."
"Thanks!" I jumped in the shower, washing my hair for the second time today. I know that's bad, but it always looks best freshly washed, it's wavier. When I was finished I walked to my room. I could running of water downstairs, so I assumed Kaitlyn was still in the shower.
