One Week Later...

I swallow hard as I try to calm the raging nerves inside me. My stomach is a jumbling mess of butterflies and I look pale.

"You ok?" Annie asks from where she sits on a chair in the corner of the room.

"I feel sick," I whisper, my hands shaking.

"You'll be fine. Just think why you're here. It's not for everyone out there, it's for Zack," she says and I nod. She's right. I know that, but I'm still freaking out.

"Breathe," Emily says as she ties the ribbon around Amy's waist before she makes sure the dress is smoothed out. I take a deep breath and look around me. I try to find something that will calm my nerves... a bottle of vodka might do it. Maria, Annie, Emily and Amy are all in the room with me. Their red bridesmaids dresses flowing out from the hips beautifully. Amy's has a white sash ribbon around the waist. Their hair is curled and pinned back and they all, except Amy, have a bit of make-up on. All four of them look breathtakingly beautiful.

Turning, I look over the bridal gown I'm wearing. A smile touches my lips. It is beautiful. White lace covers the dress, but it also has a little bit of a red glow to it. It's fitted at the top, a cross corset back, tied with ribbons. From the waist, it spreads out and flows softly around my legs. My hair is also curled and pinned back at the sides, but I have a veil on. I'm keeping it back though, so it isn't over my face. Although I feel pale, my skin is a cream colour from the make-up. A red tinge to my cheeks that may not be from the make-up and my lips full and perfect. My amber eyes are brought to life by the way Emily has done my make-up and my eyes seem to shine and glisten with colour. I smile again, knowing Zack is going to love my dress, just as much as I love it.

"Are you ready?" Maria's suddenly asks, pulling me out of my thoughts. I turn around to face her. Emily is helping Annie stand and I frown a little.

Annie has been getting weaker and weaker as the days have gone by. Zack and I have every healer within a hundred mile radius checking over her, trying to find out what's wrong, but so far, no one knows.

Annie catches my eye and smiles brightly. Amy takes hold of my hand and then hugs me tightly. Her aunt passed away four days earlier. The funeral had been held the day after.
Amy has settling in well living with Zack and I and we both love her.

"You look really pretty," she says. I press a kiss to her forehead.

"You look more beautiful," I whisper and she blushes, "Are you ready?" I ask. She nods seriously, but her eyes sparkle with excitement as she hurries over to Emily.

"You look amazing," Maria assures me with a smile. I hug her.

"Thank you," I say, trying to hold back the tears.

"No waterworks. My heart can't take it," Nathan says suddenly as he enters the room and smiles. I asked Nathan if he'd do the honour of walk me down the aisle. I can still remember the proud look he'd had shining in his eyes.

"Right, Amy. Come on, honey," Emily says, holding out her hand.

Amy and Emily are walking down the aisle first, followed by Maria and Annie and then me and Nathan. As the girls leave the tent and head outside, I look over at Nathan.

"I feel sick," I mutter and he laughs.

"Jasmine was the same on our wedding day," he says as he takes my arm and we begin out the tent.

"Did she faint?" I whisper.

The wedding is being held inside the woods, near the stream Zack and I had made out at for the first time. I feel heat flood my cheeks at the thought. No one understands why Zack had been so adamant we have the wedding here, but they hadn't argued, much.
