"Do you need anything boo?" I asked quietly, so as to not hurt his head.

"Water," he whispered.

"Okay, I'll be back," I said, patting his back and standing up. I walked out of the bathroom and into the kitchen.

Truthfully, I'm scared. Louis has been sick for a few days, but now it's getting bad. He can't even keep water down and he's been spitting up bile for about three hours now. Last time I checked, his fever had skyrocketed to 103.1.

I grabbed my cell phone just in case things got any worse, then grabbed a glass out of the cabinet to get him some water.

"Y/n fuck," he yelled from the bathroom.

I heard him gagging, again. I set the cup down and sprinted back to the bathroom, stuffing my cell in my pocket and dropping down next to him, rubbing his back as he heaved up nothing.

I'd been trying to avoid it, but I glanced up at the toilet for one second, to see if he was just dry heaving or not, but the sight that greeted me was horrible.

The toilet bowl was filled with blood. Blood. Oh my god.

"Lou, you're puking up blood. Oh my god. I'm calling Liam," I exclaimed.

"Y/n why is everything turning black?" he asked, tears streaming down his face.

Shit. Louis never cries. That's it. I dialed 9-1-1.

Then things for worse. He literally passed out into my arms. Completely unconscious.

"Hello what is your emergency?" A lady asked.

"My boyfriend was puking up blood and just passed out," I said hurriedly.

"Okay, what's your address?" she asked calmly.

"113 North Sycamore," I said, surprised I could even remember it.

"Okay, an ambulance is on the way, sit tight honey," she said, before hanging up.

I wrapped my arms around Louis and pulled him closer to me, rocking him back and forth. Oh my god. Oh my god.

A short time later, I heard the doorbell ring. Crap, I can't really get up with him on top of me. Then I heard the door open. I guess it was unlocked.

"Hello?" a man yelled.

"Back here," I called.

Two guys appeared in the doorway, both dressed in red outfits, in assuming for the ambulance and what not. They lifted Louis off of my lap and onto a stretcher.

Then they carried him out of our house and into the ambulance, motioning for me to climb in the back with him. I got in and then they shut the doors behind me.

Once we got to the hospital, they unloaded Louis onto a gurney and wheeled him down a corridor and into a small room.

They lifted him up and placed him on a bed. He started shaking and shivering, his whole body convulsing violently.

"It's an ice bed. We have to get his temp down," one of the guys explained to me, while the other drew Louis' blood.

After getting a blood sample, the one guy left, probably to run some tests and see what was wrong.

Every few minutes, the guy checked Louis' temperature, to see if it was getting lower. I watched as it went down, and down, and down.

"Ung," Louis moaned, his eyes flickering open.

"Hey," I said, grabbing his hand gently. Jeez it was freezing.

"S-so c-col-d," he said, his teeth chattering.

"I'm sorry," I whispered.

"Okay, temp is low enough, lets get him off of here," one guy said.

"Can you sit up kid?" the other guy asked.

Louis nodded, and with my help, sat up. Then he swung his legs over the side of the bed.

One of the guys came around and helped him get down off of the dreaded ice bed and sit down in a wheelchair.

He pushed him out of the room and down a few more hallways, into a different room, with a normal bed. After helping him lay down, both guys turned to me.

"So we ran his blood work, and he has a severe case of mono. Untreated, it can be fatal, but you got him here in time, so he'll be fine. We're just going to keep him over night to make sure everything's good," one of them explained.

"Okay, thank you," I said.

"Visiting hours are over, so you have to leave, but you can come back at 6," the other one said regretfully.

"Okay," I said, nodding.

They both left, leaving me alone with Louis to say goodbye.

"I have to leave boo," I said softly.

"I don't want you to go," he said, his eyes filling with tears.

"I'll be back in two hours just get some sleep love. goodnight," I said, kissing him on the forehead.

"Night," he whispered.

I gave him a sad smile, then turned around and walked out the door, wishing that I could stay with him, but knowing I couldn't.

Another series done. Btw I know that mono isn't like that but I don't really care.
