Here's another one of him and your child have a stomach bug for Harry... except I'm tired of writing about people throwing up so this one is about a cough.

I woke up, to once again, hear coughing. I forced my eyes open and looked down at my 10 year old son, Kendall, who had been up most of the night with a cough.

"It's okay..." I trailed off, noticing that Kendall was asleep. Hmm that's weird. Am I imagining coughing noises now? I laughed quietly to myself at the though of going crazy.

Cough. Cough. Nope didn't imagine that. I walked upstairs to see where the coughing was coming from.

Cough. Cough. It almost sounded like it was coming from.. Harry and I's room. I opened the door and saw Harry sitting up in bed.

"Harry, you okay?" I asked.

"I think I caught whatever Kendall has," he said, his voice hoarse.

"I'm sorry babe," I said, sitting down next to him and rubbing his back.

"But I can't be sick, we have a concert tonight," he moaned.

"Well maybe if you stop talking you'll be able to sing tonight," I reasoned. Harry nodded.

"I'll go get you a glass of water and a cough drop for your throat," I said before sliding off the bed.

When I came back, I gave him the water and the cough drops, which he took gratefully. Popping the drop into his mouth and taking a large gulp of water.

"Kendall just woke up again, so I'm going to go sit with him. You can wait here or come down with me," I told him. He looked at me for a second before grabbing his phone.

I watched curiously as he opened his notes and made a new one. He typed 'I'm going to try and fall back asleep. See you in the morning babe'

"Okay, I'll sleep downstairs with Kendall so I don't wake you up. Goodnight," I said, before tiptoeing down the stairs to give Kendall another cough drop.
