Harry's p.o.v.

"Hey, uh dad," Logan said nervously.

I opened my eyes a crack and looked at him.

"What?" I asked.

"My car won't start," he said quickly.

"I'll look at it when I get better bud okay?" I assured him.

"That's not why I'm telling you," he said as I rolled over to go back to sleep.

"Then why logan?" I asked, getting slightly annoyed.

"Joey has a baseball game and I was going to drive him but now I can't," he explained.

"Take my car," I said into my pillow, my voice muffled.

"I don't know how to drive stick dad," he said apologetically.

"Damn," I couldn't help it. "Sorry," I said afterword.

"Kendall and Joey are both pretty much ready, they just need shoes. He has to be there in 20 minutes, so we need to leave in 10," he laid out all of the instructions. God when did he become so grown up?

"Okay I'll be out in a minute," I grumbled, sitting up and clutching my pounding head.

"Thanks dad," Logan said as he slid out of the door, latching it behind him.

I sighed, gingerly pushing myself off of the bed and onto my shaky legs. The room spun and I grabbed the side of the dresser to keep from falling over.

Keeping one hand on the wall or something else solid at all times, I managed to get dressed and put my shoes on.

I carefully stepped out of the room and walked down the hallway, trying to act as normal as possible.

"Here's your keys and wallet dad, they're already in the car," Logan said as he walked past me.

I grabbed my stuff and followed him out the door, shaking my head at how mature he was suddenly being.

We'd been driving for about 4 minutes when I could tell my fever went up. I stated shivering so hard I could barely keep the wheel straight, and then the world started spinning.

I quickly pulled over and leaned my head against the steering wheel, taking deep breaths. The dizziness was making me nauseous and I'm not going to throw up in front of my kids.

"Dad?" Logan said hesitantly.

"Loges, I'm gonna need you to figure out how to drive stick sometime in the next 10 seconds because I can't drive," I said, keeping my teeth together.

"I was afraid you'd say that. Okay slide over," he said after pushing the armrest up.

I slid over into the passengers side while he got up and walked around, getting into the drivers seat.

He restarted the car and just let it run for a minute. Then I heard the gear shifting, and we started moving, slowly and jerkily, which wasn't helping my situation.

I managed to swallow my lunch down, and logan managed to get us to the baseball park.

The boys all got out of the car, and Joey popped the trunk so he could get his bag out.

"I'm gonna call your mom and see if she can come get me, go ahead guys," I told them, not moving an inch.

"Okay, c'mon boys," Logan said. then all of the doors shut and it finally felt warm in the car.

I sighed comfortably and let myself drift off to sleep, forgetting all about calling my wife.

Well, I ended up sleeping for the entire game, and when the boys came back to the car and found me asleep, they called y/n, who had them sit and wait until she drove over from work.

Then, logan drove her car home, and she drove mine, then they all dragged me inside the house and onto the couch, which is where I woke up the next morning, feeling loads better.
