Your POV

Ice King continued to show you around his castle and made sure to keep you far away from the main door. By the end of the tour you began to feel a little sorry for him. It seems like he doesn't really have anyone but his penguins. You shook away the feeling as you remembered all he had done to you. He kidnaped you, knocked you out, locked you up, and now expects you to stay with him.

Ice King stopped in front of a door and turned to you.

"Ready my queen? Ready to see our new room?" He said as he placed a hand on your back and rubbed it. Sharp pains stabbed at you as you remembered all the trouble the beast had caused you. You tried not to let him notice and waited for him to open the door. He slowly opened it up as if trying to build suspense. He held it open and waited for you to walk in. With your back it made it a little hard but you managed to walk as normal as you could into the room. You stopped as he came in after and held out his hand. You plaster on another smile and took it.

"What do you think?" He asked while giving it a little squeeze. "It even has leopard skin covers, thought you might like it,"

You didn't know what to say so you just hummed in response. Just looking at it made you worn out and the cuts on your back weren't helping either. All you wanted to do right now was to rest and heal.
He lead you over to the bed side and sat you down. He sat next to you and began to talk.

"You know, it may seem hard to believe because of how great I am and all...but not many people have stuck around as long as you have. I feel like I can really trust you," he whispered the last part and grabbed your hand even harder. A little too hard. You didn't know what to do so you just blurted out the first thing that came into your head.

"Do you mind if I freshen up a bit?" You tried to pull away from his tight hold and nearly fell over trying to. He immediately stood up after you.

"Shall I show you the way?~" he sang.

"No! I mean....no it's ok. You did such a good job on showing me around that I think I got it,"
You made your way to the door and turned around and smiled at him. You tried to put as much heart into the smile as possible. What you were about to do makes you feel terrible but it was going to happen eventually. After all you can't keep someone locked up against their will.

He smiled back a loving smile which only made things harder. You turned around and you smile dropped quicker than anything. You struggled to walk out the door but as soon as you knew he couldn't see you anymore, you hobbled over to the entrance and fell against a wall and barely held yourself up. You were so close! You closed your eyes and went to push yourself up when a sudden pair of hands grabbed onto your shoulders. You snapped your eyes open and frantically looked to see who had grabbed you. It didn't take long to recognise Finn.

Your eyes widened as stared at the boy in front of you. He had come to save you! Well at least help you get out the rest of the door.

"(Y/n)! You're out of the ice dungeon and awake!" He whisper shouted. You were so happy he came. For some reason you couldn't wait to see him again. You used the rest of your strength to push off the wall and onto him. You flung your arms around his neck in a hug/support type of way. He immediately grabbed onto you and picked you up, carrying you the rest of the way out.
"Let's go," he simply stated.

Once you both were out, he carried you over to Jake and placed you on his back. They began to take you away from the Ice Kingdom and towards who knows where. You kept growing wearier but you spoke up. You turned your head around to Finn who was siting and holding onto you from behind, so you wouldn't fall off, and spoke.

"Thank you," was all that came out. You were so weak and tired and the full effects had only just hit you. Maybe because all the adrenaline had gone.
He tilted his head to the side and gave you a warm smile
"Don't worry about it. I'm just happy your now safe and with us again,"
You turned back around and looked down. You could tell your face was flushed a red colour. You gave a tiny chuckle because of how you were acting and closed your eyes. Getting flustered wasn't like you but you just couldn't help it when you were around him. Maybe it was because he was the only other human you knew or maybe it was something more. Before you could think about it any further, you felt yourself slip away and fall back against something warm.

Finn's POV

After I smiled at (y/n) she turned around pretty quickly. So much was going through my mind. I was so happy I had her back safe and sound and to have her close to me. I was holding onto her just in case she fell off because she looked pretty pale and weak. I looked at her when I heard her chuckle softly. I smiled a soft smile and saw her relax a bit and slowly lean back.
Right.
Onto.
Me.
I stiffened for a second and a blush quickly took over my cheeks. I looked down to see her fast asleep. She must have been through so much. I quickly relaxed and saw her chest slowly rise and drop. I held her a little closer and tighter and held a content smile on my face. This was nice. Jake looked over his shoulder and softly whistled at us then turned back around as we finally arrived back at our tree house. I grabbed (y/n), careful not to wake her, and carried her bridal style up to our room. I gently laid her on my bed and took a step back then left the room. I'm sure BMO will be happy she is back. But for now, we need to wait until she wakes up.
