It's been 2 weeks since I broke up with Hunter. We would says simple hey here and there at school.

Me and Derek hang out a lot more, but I decided to break up with him a few days ago. Me and him are better off friends.

Don't get me wrong, I love Derek, but not as much as I did Hunter.

In fact, I'm still mad at Hunter for yelling at me.

I was heading to my locker at the end of the day. I did the code and opened it.

I was surprised cause in the middle of my locker sat a piece of paper.

I put everything up before picking it up.

I walked to the bench and sat down.

You know I was a real jerk a few weeks ago. I'm sorry about that. I can't stop thinking of you. I wish you were in my arms, and I could taste your lips again. But I know that may not happen. You gave me chances, and I let you down. I'm sorry. I love you still Jade. I always have and always will.

I stared at the note before reading it for the 2nd time.

I stood up and walked out. I've been taking the bus since Hunter isn't driving me anymore, and my parents work.

I went to my usual seat and sat down. I did like the first day. lean my head against the window and turned on my music.

Someone as at down next to me, but I didn't look to see. No I felt them lean back. I continued to sing the song in my head. Until the end, I felt arm warp around me. A familiar arm.

I took my headphones out and looked to my right to see Hunter sitting there with his head back. His arm still around my shoulders.

"Hunter?" I coughed.

"Jade."

"What are you doing?"

"Sitting here now heading home."

"I mean with your arm. And..."

"Did you get the note?" He cut me off.

I bit my lip. "Yes.."

"Ok and?" He took his arm away from me. I felt instantly alone.

"Me and Derek broke up a few days ago..." I looked down. Then at him. His eyes were wide.

"Really?"

"Yeah. I did. I just want to be his friend. And he agreed."

"Oh." He said.

I didn't realize what I was doing but I took his hand in mine and interlocked out fingers. I laid my head on his shoulder.

He must have been shocked cause he said my name.

"Jade?"

"What?"

"What are you doing now?"

"I miss you Hunter!"

"I bet not."

"Then why would I do this?"

I brought our heads down and then kissed him on the lips. He kissed me back. I really missed that.

He pulled away after 10 seconds.

"Believe me know?" I asked.

"Yeah.."

"Hunter. Can you give me a chance?"

"Maybe." He smirked.

"Please. I want to be your girlfriend. I miss you. After that note, I realized I still like you."

"Ok. Jade will you be my girlfriend again?"

"Yes Mr. Hunter Hayes."

He pulled me into a hug, then got up to leave to his house. I love that dude so much. I know I seem as I rushed into it with him again, and not just try being friends, but I miss him.

Hunter got off the bus about 15 minutes ago, then I did after his stop.

I went up to my room to text Derek.

Hey Derek. -Jade

Hey. I miss you I hope you know. but. I do agree being friends. Plus you and hunter are probably gonna go back out anyways. -Derek

He asked me out on the bus. I miss him so I said yes. -Jade

I threw my phone down mad at him. I then picked it up after five minutes. I had a small crack on the bottom right. Not that noticeable for a iPhone, it hasn't cracked after so many drops.

I laid on my bed and just screamed. No one is home so I'm lucky.

I closed my eyes before falling asleep.
