I stood at my locker undoing the code. Twist, twist, twist, then it unlocked. What a day.. I thought. I put my bag in there so Hunter wouldn't steal it again. Then I pulled two of my binders out for my next class. Social studies.

I closed my locker and turned around to bump right into someone. I looked up to see who it was. Sure enough, it was him.

"Hey baby." Hunter husky voice said. "Why were you late to class. I saved you a seat but some hot chick named Bailey sat there." He step forward pushing me against my locker.

"Hunter please move." I tried going to the right of him, but he put his arm there before I could get out. Now both his arms were on either side of me.

"No. Not now. Tell me why you were late." His warm breath brushed past my ear. It sent tingles down my back, and arms.

"P-please move. O-or else."

"Or else what?" He smirked. He back up to where I wasn't pressed straight again the cold metal.

"I will..." I didn't answer cause I didn't have anything to say.

"Speechless now are we sweetie." Hunter grabbed my waist and pulled me into him. "Answer my question."

"Because you wanted me to shake your hand. Then I stood there on the hall froze. The principle came by and told me to get to class. So my class is on the far end, and I was walking a lot slower because of memories with my ex best friend, that's why. It was all because of you, you jerk."

I pushed hard on hunters chest before walking to my next class.

"Hey baby." I herd Hunter say. I looked back to see some brunette girl with a short, short dress, and flats walking to Hunter. I stopped and stood there behind a corner to see what was about to happen.

"Hey babe. Who were you talking to?" the girl asked.

"Just my, cousin. Don't worry. I wouldn't hurt you like that Mia."

Whoa! That was Mia! Well maybe I haven't seen her for a little over a year. She looks, pretty. I wanted to walk out there and say hey to her, but right before I did, Hunter pushed her onto the locker.

"Whoa." She said. I could tell she was smirking.

Hunter walked up to her and kissed her on the lips. Myla wrapped her arms around his neck and her fingers maze through his hair. Hunters arms wrapped around her waist, as he travels his kisses down to her neck.

"Hey!" The principle said. Uh oh! Mia and Hunter are busted! "Get to my office right now young lady. And you, Mr. Hayes. I know your knew here, but you don't do this things on school property. Or even to my daughter. You both better be in my office in 5 minutes or you will both have 2 weeks of detention."

Ok. I know he was crazy, but not that crazy. Mr. Callahan started walking my way. I turned back and started walking to my class. More like speed walking. I opened the door, shut it, then let out a long sigh. Everyone looked at me.

My face went red. I walked to my seat and sat down.

"Hey." My formal best friend Lauren said.

"Hey." I answered taking out my notebook.

I started copying down what was on the board. After a half of page of notes, the fire alarm sounded. My teacher told everyone to get in a single file line and the last one close the door.

And of course I was the last one since I put my paper back into my binder.

I got up and closed the door as I exit the room. I walked behind the schools football quarterback. His name is Derek James.

"Hey." He turned around and winked at me.

"Leave me alone Derek."

"What why?"

I looked over to see Hunter staring at me. He smiled and waved. I just rolled my eyes at him. Hunter turned to some girl and wrapped his arms around her waist. I looked harder, and nope it wasn't Mia. hunter kissed that girls neck right before a teacher walked by.

Dang it! Why couldn't that teacher catch him! I cursed under my breath.

"What did you say Jade?" Derek asked looking at me wide eyes.

"You herd." I mumbled.

"Ok... Hey there's a party at my house this Friday. You coming?"

"Uh. Sure! I always love parties. Wait. But there has never been but maybe 3 parties at you house. And that was in freshman year. They are always held at Austin's house."

"Well. Last weeks party, his mom came home early and there were 5 to 6 people passed out on the ground. And he was too. So the house was still a huge mess."

"Oh man. Is that why he hasn't been at school, or at the mall with his buds?"

"Yep."

Everyone was dismissed back inside. I walked next to Derek. Ok fine, he held my hand as we walked back in. And no I didn't pull away cause I was attracted to him. He was also the only guy who hasn't hit on me, or tired to make out with me.

"Haha. That's so stupid. That Hunter kid is gonna be big trouble here. And I though I was a player." Derek said.

He pulled me out of the crowd and around a corner of the school building.

"Why are we over here?" I asked after everyone went inside.

He pulled out a blanket out of a missing gap in the wall. He laid it out and sat down. Derek patted for me to sit next to him.

"This is the only place that doesn't have cameras." He said.

"Cool. But still, why you bring me here?"

"I wanted to talk to you."

"This can't be good. When most guys say 'I want to talk to you', they try to make out with me, or try to date me. Be warned. The answer is already no."

"No. What? Wait? That's not what I was gonna say."

"Then what is it? Derek."

"I like a girl. Well she is your friend, her name is Mia. Since the beginning of 12th, she has became a lot prettier. I just want to get it passed the principle. Her dad. I know that y'all two are friends, so I want you to help me get her for me."

"Actually, she isn't my friend. Not since a party last school year. I became more popular and all I wanted to do was party. She couldn't go, so I told her things I regret."

Something shocked me, Derek wrapped his arms around my shoulders.

"What are you doing Derek?"

"Just comforting you."

I laughed.

"But please help me though." He took his arm off my shoulders.

"I will." I smiled.

Derek smiled back at me. We both leaned again the building of the wall.

My phone buzzed. I got a text.

Hey, I got your number too. meet me outside during lunch. XxHunterxX

I texted him back saying no I wouldn't meet him.

I'm getting really tired of his stupid games. He tried to hit on me, then my ex best friend, then a girl outside durning the fire drill. Now he is back to me. Wait no, I bet you Hunter is kissing a girl right at this minute.

I put my phone back in pocket.

"Derek...."

I said right before....
