:Edited:

I was hoping Hunter was still at the field so I can talk to him. I wanted to talk to him about the note he put in my locker, and everything else.

What if Hunter isn't there? What if he doesn't want to talk about it? What if a girl is there and he is kissing her?

All these thoughts flooded my mind as I headed toward the field. He was sitting in the middle of the grass picking it with his fingers. His chin was resting on his left hand.

I just stood there watching him.

After five minutes later, I decided to walk up to him. Well by now he was laying there with his eyes closed.

"Hunter?" I said once I reached him.

His shot up and looked at me.

"Don't scare me like that."

"Sorry." I laughed. I went and sat down next to him.

"What are you doing here?" He asked confused.

I rummaged though my bag and got the note.

"I decided to go to the football field and wait for my mom." I read once I found it.

"You.. Got the.. Note." He said.

"Yeah. And the flower, and chocolates." I smiled.

"Oh." He looked down.

I have never seen this type of Hunter before. He is so calm, and not being mean. It's different.

"Yeah. I came out here to talk to you about something."

A horn sounded behind us. We both turned and his mom was waiting outside the car for him.

He gave me a sad smile and stood up. I did the same.

"My moms here." All he said.

"Yeah I see."

Hunters POV.

I gave Jade a sad smile before standing up. Then she stood with me. I honestly wanted to talk to her about that note. Everything in there was true. But I don't know if she will believe me. But I guess my mom is here so that ruined everything.

"My moms here."

"Yeah I see." She said.

I huffed then started walking towards my mom. It did take a few good steps before I reached her since I was near the middle of the football field.

"Hey darling." My mom said once I reached her.

I tried not to cry because I didn't want to leave her. But my sadness, and watery eyes gave it up that something's wrong.

"Hey what's wrong?" My mom asked.

"Nothing." I mumbled. I got in the car and buckled up. I looked straight at Jade. Gosh she is so beautiful. She was also staring right back and smiled.

My heart skipped a beat.

"Hunter what's wrong? I know something is wrong." My mom pushed.

"Nothing mom. Ok? Nothing is wrong in just fine. I don't care that you just came and picked me up when I was about to tell my ex girlfriend from grade school something. I don't care ok. So nothing is wrong. Nothing.

Once my mom fully backed up, she stopped dead.

"Hunter Easton Hayes!" My mom yelled.

"I'm sorry mom. It just... I wanted to tell her something. I wrote her a note and she came out. We were just about to talk when you came up."
