today afternoon Jia was reminded of a paramount life lesson.
she arrived at the bus stop after a hustling morning of work and immediately spotted Namjoon with a raven scarf and sepia coat keeping him heated.
why did you send me away?
he was here before her.
so she rushed to get the earphones out of her bag before walking over to him with longing in her heart. "Namjoon! you dropped these the last time i saw you-" and he turned around.
Namjoon kept his eyes on her, glancing at the earphones before taking them out of her hands and getting onto the bus, not a word or smile given.
i feel like i'm carrying heavy mountains of people's issues on my shoulder.
Jia was surprised by his sudden bleakness and she stood there, not wanting to move before getting onto the bus, Namjoon sitting at the top, away from her.
Jia didn't know that Namjoon's demons had gotten the best out of him that day. some days it would worsen, some days it was tolerable.
and the lesson Jia had learnt was that everyone has their own story and are fighting their own battles.
