Been no one

I was back at my favorite spot.

Yesterday had been difficult, and after that boy made me clean up his mess and even take him back to his place—which happened to be much harder than expected cause of his drunk state—but I somehow managed to survive it.

Now I was back to look over the beautiful lighted city at midnight. To complete what I had initially come here to do yesterday.

I walked closer to the edge of the part of the roof that didn't have the railings, and once again, curled my cold toes over the very edge. Loving the feeling of the cold breeze hitting my face.

Drying away every last drop of tear that ever fell from my eyes.

I spread my arms, slowly balancing myself even when the harsh wind breezed through.

"Aah!"

I heard someone scream.

And the moment I decided to turn my head to look behind,

I saw you, who came running towards me.

Your strong arms hugged me from behind, and pulled me back, which lead to us landing on our butts. Or well...just you, cause I fell on you.

"What the hell, woman!?" You yelled, making me realize how your voice was best fit for a face this angelic. "Do you have a death wish!?"

I widened my eyes, when I realized what he meant.

"Bro, I wasn't gonna fucking commit suicide, if that's what you're thinking." I spoke calmly, getting up and dusting off my shorts.

"Oh?...well, that's what it looked like!"

I chuckled seeing you getting worried for a total stranger like me.

But then I wondered how you could be so kind the people who never did any good in your life?
