Six: Obscure

Hence is not answering Min's call, he knows Hence was done helping his mom at the market this morning, Min decided to go to Hence house.
"Hence?" Min knocked twice, he also tries to open the door, but there is no response from the inside.
"Hence! Open the door!" when there was really no replies inside, Min starting to get worried.
"What is this sudden feeling? Anxious?" However, Min tries to calm first and decided to call Gray for help, but he is not answering. He tries to call Othello instead and gladly he pick it up.
"I need you here" Min said to Othello when he picked up the call.
"Why?" he explained to Othello what the current situation is.
"What?!" after Min's call Othello run as fast as he can to Hence house. When he arrived he saw Min outside waiting nervously.
"Calm down Min, Where is he?" I asked him.
"Inside, I don't know. He is still not answering" Min said with his nervous voice.
"Where his mom?"
"In the market, she said that Hence is just at home" Min try to explain to me despite being worried. I hold his shoulder.
"Min calm down okay, now did you try to call Gray?" I asked him while in front of his room.
"He is not answering earlier, but... I will try again" We have no choice, Min and I try to knock again on the door.
"Hence! Open the door, I am getting mad!" I knock on the door loud and scary. After a couple of times trying to open the door, we went straight to his room. Hence is not there. Min look at me,
"Hence?!" We search through the whole second floor of their house.
"Min! Here!" I call Min when I saw Hence inside the bathroom. Hence, unconsciously lying on the floor with some pills on his hands.
"Hence!" I decided to carry Hence on my back and I look at Min's who was nervous and extremely worried for Hence.
"Min!" I call his attention and he just staring at us.
"Min comeback to your sense! Call his mother from the Market, I will bring him to the nearest hospital. Understood?" he nods and I left him.

Min patiently waiting outside the emergency with Othello and Hence mom. They saw Gray coming with Karu. Gray greeted Hence mom and went to us.
"What happened Min?" Gray said while approaching them and Min saw Karu trying to comfort Hence mom.
"Min?" Gray calls Min's attention
"I-I..." he can't continue his words when suddenly the doctor came out.
"Where is the guardian of Mr. Gwyn?" when Hence mom saw the doctor, she stands up and Karu guides her.
"Are you the guardian?"
"Yes, I am his mother" Hence mom said.
"He is stable now, we give him the first aid that he needs. We take out some hypnotic drugs from his stomach."
"Hypnotic drugs?" Karu asked the doctor
"Yes, it's kind of sedative pills to prescribe for the patients who suffering insomnia. He overdosed himself, that's why he lost his conscious" They all shock on what they heard from Hence doctor.
"What sedative?" Hence mom said with her curious and worried voice.
"Does he suffer from insomnia?" the doctor asked us.
"Yes, but that was a long time ago. I thought he-" his mom stop and sat down. She buried her face to her palm. Karu comforts her.
"We must continue to observe him, physically and mentally. Mr. Gwyn will be under observation and will run more test when he wakes up" Hence mother almost faint after hearing the news, thankfully Karu was beside her. They become worried about anything.
"Min, Gray wants us to talk" Othello approach Min who was inside Hence hospital room. Min looks at Karu who was seated beside Hence,
"Go ahead Min, I will take care of this" Karu said, he smiles at her and went outside together with Othello.
"When will you both keep this as a secret?" Gray said and show to them the picture of Hence in the phone of Othello. The picture shows the stolen shot of Hence entering a pharmacy.
"How?" Min asked and look at Othello.
"I knew it already, Min. Hence is secretly buying those pills using a fake prescription" Othello said.
"How come you didn't tell me this?!" Gray suddenly raise his voice.
"What? I don't know this. Trust me Gray" Min defend himself.
"I trust you Min, but I hope you've been honest to us. Both of you"
"I know he secretly went there and I don't have any idea that he was buying those pills for himself" Min added.
"You, Othello?"
"Gray, I talk to him once and he keeps denying everything. I know he has a reason and I don't want to force him to tell me everything. I trust and wait for him to tell me"
"Did he? Huh?!" Gray added and start to raise his voice again.
"Gray stop raising your voice, it's not our fault either Hence. We trust Hence and we thought that he will have the courage to share this to us" Othello said, Min choose to stay quiet and just listen to Othello and Gray's conversation.
"I wonder if they heard this inside" Min's thought while sitting between the two.
"Everything will be fine Mrs. Gwyn" Karu pat her back when she heard them outside. Karu hope Hence mom didn't hear their conversation. They are too loud and after an hour they went inside one by one.
"I will get some clothes for Hence and his mother" Karu said to them, but they all look worried and they just simply nod.
"Min, can you sit down beside his mom" Karu said to Min. When she got outside of the room, Karu saw Marcus standing to wait for someone inside.
"Let's go, I will come with you" Karu ignore him and left the area, she didn't care if Marcus still following her. While he was walking through the lobby of the hospital, Marcus starts to talk. Karu has been ignoring him since Marcus kissed her that day, even my brother notice it after we sent Yuan off, the day he died.
"Why are you acting this way? Are you avoiding me?" Marcus said while trying to walk beside Karu.
"No, I'm not" she answers him.
"Then, why are you ignoring me and walking so fast?" Marcus said. Karu stops and look at him.
"I said, I'm not"
"Then..." Marcus hastily holds Karu's hands and put it inside his jacket's pocket and she found a can of milk inside.
"Drink it. I know you still haven't eaten your breakfast"
