Chapter 1: Beginning

Y/N's POV

I woke up and eat the breakfast that Unnie made. It was pancakes. Suddenly, there's this thought that was haunting me..It was already two months since I broke up with Jackson. I signed at the thought. Shinmi unnie told me to get ready beacuse we were going to buy some groceries since we were running out of them. I dress myself up in an autumn outfit because it is autumn in South Korea now.

My outfit was:

Comfy and casual!

Now, I am ready to go and buy the groceries.

"Y/N!!! Are you ready?!" Shinmi shouted from downstairs.

"Ne! Wait up for a second!" I replied back as I was taking my phone, earphone and purse.

After that, we get inside the car and drove to the mart. I was listening to some music when I heard my sister called me.

"Y/N.."Shinmi called my name but her eyes are still focus on the road.

"Ne? What's wrong unnie?" I asked on concerned. She just glanced at me and gave me a small smile.

"Nothing~"She says in singing-like voice. I chuckled and continue to listen to music.

Time skip >in the mall<

"Okay, we parted ways. Yeodongsaeng, you go to the frozen isle meanwhile I go to the Vegetable isle. I'll text you the things you need to buy. Meet me at the counter number 5. Got it?" Shinmi explained. I reply with a short nod and walked my way to the frozen isle.

As I was checking on what should I buy, I bumped into a masked guy. I groaned in pain as I try to stand up. "Jeongmal mianhae.." The guy apologies. I looked up to see the the guy's face and stared at it for a while. Somehow I felt like I already met this person somewhere...but, where?

"Y-Y/N? Is that...you?" I gasped as I recognized that voice.

"J-Jungkook?" I stuttered. Shocked written all over our face. I squeal and hug him tightly. I don't know that I bumped into my childhood friend!

"It's been awhile since I met you! How are you?" Then, I felt a hand blocking my mouth from talking.

"Slow down there, girl. I'm totally fine. How about you?" He asked me as he slowly take his hand off of my mouth.

"I'm doing great! By the way, why are you here? Isn't you supposed to practice your dance?" I asked him. He chuckled and reply "Yeah, but we are hungry so....they sent me here to buy some food".

"I see, well...I gotta buy something! See ya!" I waved at him and turned around. As I were about to walked away, he stopped me by placing his hand on one of my shoulder. I turned around and he gave me his phone. I looked at him confused. Why did he suddenly gave me his phone?

"Let's exchange phone number. We haven't text each other since I changed into a new phone" he said as if he was reading my mind. I nodded and I started to type my phone number in his phone.

"I'll text you later. Bye!" He walked out of the mart and leaving me smiling at myself. I continue to search for the things that I have to buy and went home with Shinmi unnie.

Meanwhile..

Jungkook's POV

"Hyungs! I'm back!!" I said as I closed the door of the practice room.

"Finally!! It was like years of you going to that mart just to buy us food" Suga hyung nagged. I scratched the back of my head shyly.

"Anyways! I met my childhood friend at the mart! Ya'know, the one that I've been telling you about" I said as I gave them their food.

"Oh, you mean that Y/N girl? The one that Jimin always tease you because of talking about her non stop? Oh, and don't forget that you have a crush on her for uhm...3 and a half of a year" Asked Jin hyung with a smirk.

"Y-Yeah...that one" I lowered my head a bit in embarrassment. Then, I just remember something. I haven't text Y/N yet! I took out my phone from my pocket and begin to text Y/N a message.

Annyeong Y/N! This is me, Jeon Jungkookie~

Y/N-ie

Jungkook! I thought you forgot to text me..

Me

Ouch, ;-;...What makes you think like that??

Y/N-ie
Nothing! Don't mind me. Anyways, it feels great to get in touch with you again^^

I chuckled at her statement. Then, I felt a breath tickles my neck. I turned my head to my right a bit only to find all the members crowding me, trying to read my text message with Y/N.

"Ask her to be your girlfriend!!" Jimin hyung interrupt.

"What!? No!! We just met. She would think it weird and might feel uncomfortable when I ask her to be my girlfriend after meeting her hours ago" I said as I try to think how would Y/N react to me when asking her to be my GF.

"True" Namjoon hyung interrupt us.

"Then, ask her to go out on an amusement park! More like a friendly date with your best friend. You can know each other better and catch up with things that you two don't know about each other after 5 years of distance" Hobi hyung suggested.

"That'll be great! After that, you could ask her out" Tae said, making a light pink colour spread on my cheeks.

"I-I'll try" I said as I typed another message to Y/N. I wonder how she'll react.
