Chapter 5: Surprise

Jungkook's POV

It's been a week since me and Namjoon hyung planned about my confession to Y/N. I was doing the first step which is trying to be closer to Y/N and it work! I'm just waiting for Namjoon hyung to tell me the second plan, asking her out to a date. I've been telling hyung about Y/N keep on saying that love is useless, messed up and just a waste. Surprisingly, Namjoon hyung made a song about that. The tittle was 'Waste It On Me'. He said, it's our next song and for me to confess to Y/N. I'm sho grateful that I have a hyung like him.

"Kook! Kook! I am positive that you can confess to her today," Namjoon hyung said while burst into my room.

"Really!? Like...today?" My eyes sparkling with excitement and happiness. Come one, who doesn't when you get to confess to your crush?

"Yep, you two seemed close enough now, so maybe you can give it a go," Namjoon hyung patted my back and gave me a thumb-up.

"You can confess to her tonight," I chocked on my saliva after hearing my hyung saying that.

"T-Tonight!? But! We don't have time to--" my sentence were cut by a finger placed at my mouth.

"I've set all the things up already. The restaurant, the meal, everything! Now, call her and ask her to meet you at the famous Eulji Myun Oak Restaurant," He said while handling me my phone. Okay, that's weird...why would my phone be with him?
Whatever, I took it and dialed Y/N's number as fast as possible.

"Yeobuseyo Jungkook. Is there something you wanna tell me?"

"Actually, yes. Can you meet me at Eulji Myun Oak Restaurant at 8 tonight? Wear something nice like dress or something. Namjoon hyung will pick you up at 7:30"

"Arasso. See you there then. Bye!"

End call

Namjoon hyung slapped my back which make my body to jerk forward. I glared at him and rubbed my back. Did he think my back is made of steel? Did he want my backbone to break into pieces?? Aishh, this hyung...

Time skip to tonight

Your POV

It was 6:50 p.m. and I'm preparing for a so called 'date' with Jungkook. I took a fresh bath and picked an outfit.

Your outfit:

I styled my hair in braid and put some light make up since I'm not a really big fan of make ups. I already told Shinmi unnie about the dinner at Eulji Myun Oak Restaurant. I looked at the digital clock and it wrote 7:27 p.m.. Namjoon oppa should be here in another three minutes. I grabbed my purse and phone with me and walked downstairs. Once I heard a car's horned, I smiled and bid my goodbye to my sis.

"Are you ready, milady?" I grinned and get inside.

~[At the restaurant]~

(A/N: Still your POV)

I get out of the car right after when we both arrived.

"Have fun!" Namjoon said before driving away. I nodded and went inside the restaurant. I heard that this place is popular because of their cold noodles. I tried to scan for Jungkook's face and fortunately, I saw him waving at me. I smiled and made my way towards the table. He looked so handsome.

His outfit:

"So...what's up?" I take a seat as I asked him.

"The sky?" My smile turned upside down after hearing his dumb but funny answer. He raised both of his hands, surrendered.

"Okay okay! Please don't be mad. Nothing much. How about you?" I sighed before answering his question.

"Same as you. What's the matter bringing me to eat here all of sudden?" I asked feeling a bit suspicious about his behavior. He scratched the back of his neck awkwardly and said it was nothing. I nodded just to not make him feeling awkward or something. We ordered our food and talked about random stuff while waiting for the food to come.

"Y/N, you're really beautiful in that dress. Where dis you buy it?" I smiled and answered his question.

"I bought this while shopping with my sister one month ago. This dress was the last one and I felt really lucky to buy this. This dress is also very comfortable!" He chuckled and said something I didn't expect him to say.

"Well, this dress choose a right owner. You look so beautiful in that dress, but not just this dress. Anything you wore is beautiful and fit your beauty," I stunned by his words. Without I know, there's a blush crept on my cheeks and unfamiliar feelings started to come.

"T-Thanks," I whispered, enough only for him to hear it.

"Your food is here miss, mister" A waiter said, putting our food on the table. Me and Jungkook bowed our head and started to eat. The atmosphere was silent. Not an uncomfortable silent, but the calm one. Jungkook said he has a surprise for me, I can't wait to see what is it!
