Chapter 13: The Cut On Her Cheek

Your POV

I opened my eyes and felt a bit warmer. I looked up and saw Jungkook's face. I blushed when I realize that he's hugging me. Both of his hand were wrapped around my waist loosely while his head rested on top of me. I was about to get out of his grip when he groaned softly because of my movements.

"You move too much...stay with me" He muttered while tightening his grip on my waist. I blushed and stay there, not knowing what to do or what to say. 

"Kookie.." He hummed in respond. 

"What time is it now?" I asked. He slowly bring his left hand on my lap which showed me a branded watch. I took his left hand hand checked the time. To my surprise, it wrote '8:05'. Before I get the chance to scream or get up, I heard footsteps from upstairs. I turned my head to look at the staircase and saw  ShinMi unnie in her plain black shirt and black sweatpants. She looks a bit gloomy and there's  a cut on her cheek. 

"Unnie?" I called her. 

"Ah, I see you already up" She flashed me a small smile before turning to walk to the kitchen. I softly pry myself of off Jungkook and went after ShinMi. I sat on one of the dining chair while watching her making us  pancakes.

"Unnie...what's--" "Ah, I'm sorry for not waking you up. I already called the College and told them that you're sick" I was cut by her. This doesn't sound like her...she's hiding something! I raised an eyebrow on her statement.

"You're letting me skipped my class? Unnie, what's wrong? It's not like you to do t--" I stopped my sentence when I heard a sob. I quickly stood and went to back hug her. She turned around and return my hug as she cried softly. 

"I-I, Jackson..h-he. You m-must STAY AWAY f-from him!!" She said in between her sobs. I hugged her tightly as I rubbed her back, trying to calm her down. About a minute or two, she calmed herself down and wiped her tears. I smiled at her and excused myself to wake Jungkook up.

"Y/N! " I turned around and saw ShinMi mumbled a small 'thank you' while looking down to her feet. I grinned at my sister and said "You're welcome". I walked to the living room and saw Jungkook still asleep on the couch. I sat beside him and shook him lightly, earning a small groan. 

"Wake up sleepy head" I whisper softly at his ear. I decided to tease him by licking at his earlobe which cause him to shiver slightly. I giggled at his reaction when suddenly, I felt a pair of strong arms pulling me. I let out a small yelp as I being hugged by my childhood friend. 

"Revenge" He slowly opened his eyes and grinned at my reaction. I was about to hit his head but he quickly pecked my nose and rested his head on one of my shoulder. I chuckled.

"You have to get up you know. ShinMi unnie would see us" 

"Then let it be...I'm tired"

"Tired of what?" He whined softly as I snicker. 'Cute' I mumbled.

"You're cuter though.." He replied. Before I could open my mouth to say something, we heard an 'Ahem' from the kitchen. We both looked at the direction and stunned to see ShinMi with both her hands on her hips.

"Mind showering before having a breakfast?" I quickly stood up and stuttered a 'Yes' as my sister grinned at me and said 'Good'. I waited until she walked back into the kitchen as I made my way to the staircase, Jungkook following behind.

"Hey.." He said whilst walking beside me. I hummed at him signaling him to continue.

"Wanna take a shower together?" My eyes widen at his statement as I chocked on my saliva. Jungkook laughed as he pat my back. I glared at him while walking straight to my room.

"I guess that's a no?" I rolled my eyes and slammed my door close. I turned around and cupped my blushing face and tried to calm myself down. UGH, Jeon fricking Jungkook...

{Time skip to you and Jungkook finished showering and fully dressed..}

"Yo, Y/N" I turned at him. We're in my room, chilling before going downstairs.

"What?" He turned to me, water dripping from his hair. Pink tinted on my cheek as I tried to ignore my thoughts

"Noona has a cut on her cheek..what happen?" I bit my lower lips as I forgot to asked her.

"I-I don't know.." Somehow, my feeling told me that Jackson was the cause of the cut. Jackson wouldn't do that, would he?  I shook my thoughts away before calling Jungkook.

"Hey Kookie.." I turned to him drying his wet hair using a towel. 

"Wanna race to the kitchen?" He smirked and threw me his towel at MY FACE. I blinked a few times before he ran past me to the staircase. I quickly ran after him and pounced on him when I was close enough. Welp, we ended up falling on the doorway to the kitchen.

We both looked up to see Shinmi unnie holding her phone with a sly grin. My eyes widen in embarrassment and stood up quickly.

"Unnie! Delete it!!" I said while reaching to grab the phone from her hand. She laughed softly at my effort to stole it before sliding her phone in her pocket. She sat down and gestured Jungkook to sit.

"Nope! It's so cute! Why aren't you guys dating or married  yet? I wanna have some niece and nephew to play with" I huffed and sat down on the opposite of Shinmi unnie while Jungkook sat beside me.

"What about you Noona?" asked Jungkook. Unnie raised a brow at his question before saying "What about me?".

"I mean..don't you want a family too?" Shinmi stared at her pancake before turning her gaze at Jungkook whilst smiling.

"Of course I do! It's just...I'm busy lately, and I'm not in the mood to search for my lover yet" I rolled my eyes at her statement and stuffed my mouth with my pancake.

"I guess you should find someone to love unnie...you're not getting younger you know" I teased her with a smirked. Jungkook chuckled at my remark before digging in his food.

"Young lady, I'm just 3 years apart from you...and I'm your dear sister, I know what I'm doing" She answered with a playful glare before continuing.

"Plus, you TWO should be planning about family, not me" I almost choked on my food while Jungkook desperately reaching for my glass of water and gulped it down. I glared at him for a few seconds before tuning to my sister.

"You know I'm not ready yet..." I mumbled but loud enough for them to hear it. My sister's gaze soften at me. Jungkook took my hand from under the table, giving it a little squeeze before saying

"It's okay, I'll wait 'till you're ready.." With that...we ate in awkward silence.
