Chapter 7: The Cafe And A Date

Jeongyeon's POV

It was 3:45 p.m.. I came to this cafe (A/N: In the picture above) earlier cause I just wanted to relax a bit after a whole lot of practicing for comebacks. I sip on my Flat White and scroll through my Instagram. I took my mask off because there's only few people here. This cafe was named Beautiful Time Cafe.

A few minutes later, I heard the cafe door being opened. I looked up and saw Y/N walking in with a grin plastered on her face. I smiled and stood up to hug her.

"It's been so long" She muttered and break the hug after a few seconds. I nodded, my sweet smile still there on my face. We both sat on our seat, Y/N sat beside me and placed my ddeokbokki on the table.

"Gomawo~" I said and started to eat the ddeokbokki. My eyes lit up as I chew on the food. Y/N ordered an Iced Latte and a Red Velvet cake.

"So...what did you say to Jungkook?" Y/N tense up and fiddling with her fingers.

"I said I need time to think and he give me chance to think for five days. Today is my first day" Y/N bit her bottom lips, some kind of habits she did when she's nervous.

"Don't worry, I know you will choose the right choices but, why don't you just say yes? He's been crushing for y--" my sentence being cut by the cafe's door being open. Me and Y/N glanced at the door but it was someone whom us weren't expected to be. Jeon Jungkook.

"Yow bunny!" I waved at him with a big smile. Y/N was hiding her face using her palm as all the people attentions in the cafe were at me. They turned back to what were they doing while Jungkook made his way to our table.

"Long time no see man!" I fist bumped him and sip on my Flat White. He took a seat beside Y/N and eyed her in the corner of his eyes. Y/N met his gaze and nervously chuckled. There was an awkward silence when a waiter came to give Y/N's order. She started to sip on her Iced Latte.

"So I heard you confess to our N/N" I said blankly. Wrong timing...Y/N choked on her Iced Latte and I decided to pat her back. Jungkook had a worry look plastered on his face. Once Y/N was alright, he opened his mouth to answer.

"Y-Yes, I did" Jungkook answered with a blush painted on his cheeks. I squealed and clapped my hands. Y/N was about to shove her red velvet cake but turned her face to give me an 'are you serious' face. I playfully rolled my eyes at her and drank my Flat White. We talked about our lives and stuff, nothing seems to be excited about until my manager called me, saying that I had to go to the JYP Ent. for practice. I bid my goodbye to them and left the cafe.

Your POV

Jeongyeon had to leave due to her group 'Twice' had to practice. I finished my cake and drank my Iced Latte. There was silence until Jungkook decided to break it.

"Y/N, let's go on a date" I looked at him with shocked written all over my face. Okay, did I heard him said 'date' or am I dreaming? Before I could asked him to repeat, he already paid for my orders and dragged me out of the cute and comfortable cafe.

"W-Where are we going?" I asked as I tried to keep up with him. He turned around and put his index finger in his lips as a 'keep quite' sign. After walking for awhile, we arrived at an ice cream stand. I catch a glimpse of a flower shop named Spring Day.

"What flavour do you want?" I looked at the flavours and smiled.

"I would like one scoop of Strawberry and Chocolate flavour" The worker nodded and scooped the flavours I wanted and give it to me. When I was about to open my purse to pay for the ice cream, a hand showed up and paid for it. I was about to protested but being pulled by my hand to a table nearby.

"Eat. We're going somewhere I guarantee that you'll like it" I ate my ice cream as fast as I could. I wonder what place he wanted me to go.

After I finished, We entered the flower shop I saw earlier and greeted by a worker at the counter. I looked around in awe, unaware of the intertwined hands of mine and Jungkook's. The inside was decorated with lots of beautiful flowers with many colours and shapes. They clasified the flowers by their respective colours and types. We walked further to see a garden filled with fresh flowers like tulips, daisies, roses and more. They were planted in groups.

Suddenly, I felt something poking one of my shoulder. I turned around and saw Jungkook holding a red rose in both of his hand with his famous bunny smile printed on his face.

"Waste it on me, waste it on me" I grinned at his singing and took the flower and  sniffed it. I looked up to him and give him a small smile.

"Why me when there are more girls in this world" I asked in curiosity. He chose me to 'waste my time' with him in fact there's more pretty girls maybe even prettier than me. (A/N: You're  pretty just the way you are, my readers^^). He shrugged his shoulders and come closer to me.

"Why not you? Tell me why not, waste it on me, waste it on me" I felt my heart beating faster as I took a step back. 'Stop it heart! Stop beating so fast!!' I thought to myself.

"I know you have been through many obstacles in loving someone. But with me, you don't have to worry about anything, I love you just the way you are" I felt as if the time has freeze and my heart stop beating.

"So we don't gotta go there, past lovers and warfare. It's just you and me now" I turned around as I heard a familiar voice singing a song. As expected, it was Namjoon oppa. He was standing five meters away from us while holding a bouquet of flowers.

"I don't know your secrets, but I'll pick up the pieces. Pull you close to me now" He started to approach us while singing those line. He handed me the flowers before giving me his famous smile that showed his dimple and leave.

I scanned the bouquet of flowers and saw a note that stuck in the middle of it. I took the note and read it carefully.

Dear Y/N,

I will always love you with all of my heart. My heart only yearned for your love and affection. I fell in love with you since the first time we met, and I never had laid my eyes on other women. Believe me, you are my first and last.

"Do you like it?" I turned my head to the voice and saw Jungkook standing beside me. I nodded my head and stared at the bouquet lovingly.

"Come, I'll walk you home" I nodded and we walked out of the shop with our hands intertwined.

I'm going to finish this book as soon as I can. Maybe the chapters and the story will be a bit bored and their relationship is going to speed up. I hope you guys still like this book and support it.
