Chapter 3: Amusement Park

[Still your POV]

I arrived at the amusement park safely (A/N: Thank goodness!) and parked my car at the parking lot. I quickly ran to the entrance once I saw a familiar figure standing there.

"I'm sorry for coming late!" I said as I catch my breath. He chuckled and said that it was fine and he just came here minutes ago. That chuckled make my heart flutter for no reason. I wonder why... .He already bought the tickets, so all that we have to do is PLAY!!!! Not before he put on his mask of course..

First, we went to the Bumper Cars. Me and Jungkook kept on bumping into each other, well....it's more like he bumped into me. We continue to laugh, bumped and run from each other.

Second, we went to the Freefall. It's not like I wanted to but, someone's here keep on begging me to join in and even made an aegyeo..I couldn't say no do I? I could feel my stomach did a flip-flop inside there. Finally, it was our turn to get in after waiting in such a long line. We get in and buckled up our seatbelt, oh how I wished I wasn't saying yes before! Just then.. it slides forward and hangs over the drop track for a few seconds. Without warning, the ride was released and all the riders drop in less than two seconds!

Jungkook's POV

I screamed with joy when the ride started to drop. I turned to my left and saw Y/N holding the handle tightly with eyes shut.

I held one of her hand and shouted "OPEN YOUR EYES!". (A/N: Open your eyes joyonghi Open your eyes~ Lol, sorry). She refused by shaking her head vigorously.

"TRUST ME! OPEN YOUR EYES!" I shouted with a smile. She started to opened her eyes. She turned to me and smile before shouting with joy.

The ride was fun!! We get out of the Freefall and tried some of the rides like Hurricane which Y/N refused to ride it with me and said that she was afraid of that thing broke and flew away. I didn't want to force, so I let her be. Then, we tried Pirate Ship without any hesitation since Y/N was more confident about those kind of rides.

We took a short break to buy some ice cream and chocolate milkshakes to reduce our thirsty-ness. Yep, not a real word but, who cares? We sat on a nearby bench and talked about life and stuff. Everything was good before..

"Y/N...How are your relationship with Jackson? Did he hurt you? Don't worry, I'll beat him to death!" I did a little puching action. She let out a dark chuckle while looking down at the ground.

"Hey...what's wrong? I nudged her lightly. She stayed silent as a single tear fall to the ground.

She looked up at me with a sad smile and said "We broke up, Kookie". I stared at her in disbelief. My emotions were mixed, sadness because of her being dumped and a tint of happiness because I still have a chance with her.

"B-broke up? Why? You two were doing great a few months ago!" I hugged her and pat her head softly. She cried softly and won't answer my questions. I felt bad for her break out and little break down. I mustered a small 'sorry' enough for her to hear. She shaked her head and said something but I couldn't hear it because the voice was muffled.

"H-huh?" hearing my confused voice, she rose up her head and looked at me and tried to smile but couldn't, well...at least she tried. "It wasn't your fault" she said in between sobs, with that I continue to hug her until she calmed down.

"I think it's because it's not our fate to be together," She said making me confused.

"Your question...I answered it already," She turned to me and give a sweet smile. I smiled at her and pecked her forehead.

"I guess...love is just messed up and didn't work. Love is just my waste of time," She smiled weakly and walked away to threw the empty cup of milkshake.

After that, we went to our last place, the Haunted House~. As we were entering the house, there was this psycopath scared us by showing in front of us while holding a knife. We screamed and run for our life to find the exit. As the result, we accidentally parted away and I had to find Y/N, afraid of something bad might happen to her. Unfortunately, I gave up on searching her and save my life and found the exit. Whilst on opening the entrance, I saw Y/N catching her breath while holding her knees. I scolded her for not being with me and bought me an ice cream as an apology.

After enough spending time with Y/N at the amusement park, we decided to go at her house and chill for a bit. It's already 6:32 by the way. We went inside Y/N's car and talked all the way there.

Your POV

I parked my car after reaching to my house. Surprisingly, I saw the lights were on.
I guess Shimi Unnie at home? I twisted the knob and as expected, the door was unlocked.

"I'm home!" I walked in with lazy steps due to me losing all of my energy at the amusement park. Jungkook was following behind.

"Eo? N/N! I make us a din--Kookie!?" I sat down at the dining table while my sister was in shocked. REAL SHOCKED.

"Noona! Long time no see" He greeted Shinmi and sat down beside me.

"You change a lot now! You're not the old 'Bunny Kookie' anymore but a grown up man!" I tried to stifle my laughter but failed once hearing the word 'grown up man'. Jungkook looked at me and pouted.

"Yah! What's so funny?" He asked.

"Nothing. Now eat!" I stuffed some food inside his mouth.

[Time skip to them finish eating]

Shinmi's POV

He called an Uber to send him back to his group's dorm. I insisted by saying that Y/N should drove him there but he kept on rejecting.

"I'll be going now. Thanks for the food" Jungkook bowed and stepped out of the door.

"Come and visit often!" I waved at him that was already inside car.

"Ne!" With that, the car drove away.
