Chapter 9: Old Memories

Your POV

In a blink...our lips connected. I closed my eyes and treasure this moment. His lips were so soft as if it's a lie. The kiss lasted for 5 seconds with me pulling away first. Then, we heard a person clearing their throat. We quickly turned both of our heads towards the sound only to find Namjoon oppa standing with his hands crossed over his chest.

Jungkook let go of my waist and stand a few centimeters away from me. He looked down in embarrassment with light blush meanwhile I am fiddling with my fingers and face were red as tomato!

"H-How long h-have you--" "Since the time you two started to kiss until now" I quickly hid my face in my palm.

"L-Let's go home, it's near 7 p.m., my sister must be worry about me" I said as I walked past Namjoon. Namjoon just chuckled and followed me along with Jungkook.

[Time skip to you arrived at your home sweet home!]

Your POV

I step out of the car and bid my goodbye to them. After seeing the car drove away, I turned and twisted the door knob at the same time, I heard a TV(XQ) being open. The house was dark, it scared me a little. I gather up all of my courage and walked inside only to see...

"HUARGHHH! A GHOST!!!!! UNNIE!!" I screamed and run into the kitchen, hiding behind the counter as I saw a person or 'something' sitting on the couch. Before doing so, I grabbed a pan that magically was on the counter as a weapon.

"Huh? Ghost? Where?" Her voice is a bit muffled so I peeked a bit from behind the counter and pointed at the person. I quickly crouch down again and shut my eyes close. Just then, I heard laughter...that laugh belong to Shinmi unnie. I rose up to my feet assuming she's there but instead, I saw the 'ghost' again. 'Who's here? When did she get here?' Was the thoughts that ran around my head. The person open the light and took out her mask.

"S-Shin Mi unnie!?"

"No, I'm the so called ghost that wants to stay with you and haunt you for the rest of your life" I grinned at her sarcasm.

"So, how's it goes?" I stared at her in confusion.

"What?" My sister walked towards me and hold my shoulders. I secretly panic and stared at her eyes in fear. My body was tensed.

"Namjoon told me everything. You only have a day left. I'm not pushing you to accept Jungkook but I can see that he is do determine in winning your heart" My body relaxed a bit after knowing that it's nothing serious. I bit my lower lips and looked on her right thinking about the future of our relationship. I'm afraid if he's too busy to spend his time with me. He could also forget me and cheat on me when I'm not around, right?

"If you're afraid of him cheating on you, you could give him a second chance or just leave him. It's your choice, okay? But I know and I believe that he'll not cheat on you. You know him more than me, you know how he is when it comes to loving someone. I love you and will always support you in anything" I nodded my head slowly mumbled an 'Okay' enough for Shin Mi unnie to hear.

I hugged her and walked upstairs to my room. That night, I spent my time talking to Jeongyeon and relieved my negative feelings and thoughts with her. After a few minutes, I fell asleep with an uneasy feeling.

{Next Day}

Your POV

I woke up in the middle of night. I reached my phone to see the time. Oh great, why in the world did I woke up at 3:50 am.... . I tried to sleep but it won't work! The uneasy feeling was still there!

I tossed around and shut my eyes close. After a few minutes on attempt to sleep, I gave up and grabbed my phone.

I scrolled through the Instagram and.found an article that caught my eye. I clicked it and it pops out a title that said 'A Girl Had Been Killed Found in an Alleyway'. I widen my eyes in fear. I scrolled down to know more about it but instantly regretting my choice.

There was a picture of the girl lying on the ground with blood all over her dress. I nearly threw my phone away! Who wouldn't when you saw something scary at 4:00 freaking am?
I started to cry silently. The memory of me and Jackson flash in my mind.

Flashback

"Who is that, Y/N?" I turned my head towards the voice.

"Oh, this is my friend. Jung Yoon Oh" I smiled sweetly at Jackson.

"...Y/N, get in our room" I looked at Jackson with confusion. "But--" "Go!" My sentence have been cut by him. With the feeling of anger and confused, I went to our shared bedroom.

I started to feel the difference of Jackson...he became strict and serious after a month of we started dating. At the moment, my thoughts were full of questions. 'Is he cheating on me? No no, that wouldn't be true..right? Could he have family problem that he's hiding away from me? If it's true, why didn't he tell me??'

My train of thoughts were cut by the sound of someone screaming. I widen my eyes in fear as I recognized the owner's voice. I quickly opened the door and ran downstairs only to see Jackson holding a knife and about to stab Yoon Oh.

Without wasting any time, I ran and stood in front of Yoon Oh. I closed my eyes, feeling the sharp knife stabbing me. Tears started to fall from my eyes while I screamed my heart out from the pain. I fell to the ground with a great thud.

A gasp was let out from Yoon Oh's mouth and Jackson was standing there, shocked written all over his face. I saw Jackson fell to his knees and sobbed.

"Y/N? Y/N!" Was all I heard before I passed out.

End Flashback

I heard my bedroom door being open. I hid my face in both of my palm, afraid that if it was him again.

I heard footsteps coming closer to me. I felt a familiar warm hands hugging me.

"Shh..thinking about him again?" I cried even harder when I heard Shin Mi Unnie's voice and hug her tightly. She patted my back and put her head on mine.

"Want me to sing?" I nodded my head still crying in her embrace. She cleared her throat and started to sing.

(A/N: Pretend it was Shin Mi who sang it)

My eyes were getting havier, my grip on her shirt were loosen. Her sweet soothing voice calmed me down by seconds... I love how considerate my sister was. I continued to listen to her voice until I slept...
