Sweetpea stared down at the box . I didnt even know what to say.
"You cant be " he said shaking his head in disbelief .
"I havent taken it " i said quietly . My tone sounded like i was a small child being told off.
"Well what are you doing standing here ? Go take it" he said looking at me . I took the box from his hand and he put his head in his hands . I went into the bathroom and sat down on the toilet and took the test i put it face down and waited my knee bouncing up and down impatiently. I could hear Sweetpea pacing through the trailer . While i waited i unlocked the door so i could speak to him.
"Why didnt you speak to me ?" He asked i just shrugged my shoulders.
"Thats it is it. " he said as i didnt look at him in the eye.
"How could you not tell me?"
"Sweetpea i didnt want to worry you unless i knew for sure "
"Oh so you would have actually told me if it was positive then " he scoffed
"Oh whatever " i say going into the bathroom . I turned over the test to see only one line i breathed out a sigh of relief. I put down the test on the table and headed out of the trailer and to school without Pea. 

As soon as i got into Riverdale high i was faced with Betty.
"Leave me alone Betty " i say walking past her . Her and Jug looked up at me worried. Our first lesson of the day was english and of course i sit with Reggie in that lesson.
"Ivy Jones " he said smiling at me
"Whats up Mantle " i say flopping down in my chair.
"Can i copy your homework ?" I looked at him confused making him laugh.
"Great good job i was meant to copy off of you "
"Couldve told me that or done it yourself maybe "
"I tried " he smirked
"Hmm believeable " we both started our work . Well i doodled while Reggie rambled on about some girl he was screwing. His words not mine.
"Reg" i interupted him.
"Yeah"
"Drive ?" I asked
"We havent done that in so long , im down "
Once the lesson finished we packed up our stuff . As i grabbed my bag.
"Oh reg" i say making him turn his head.
"How about you bring them straws to spice it up " i say smirking before leaving the classroom. Me and Sweetpea had bascially avoided each other all day because it was the best idea since we both knew we end up in round 2 if we spoke . After school i quickly went into the blue and gold quickly to pick up a notebook that i had left there . Jughead was sat down at the desk.
"What was up earlier ?" He asked me.
"Nothing "
"Dont lie"
"Maybe i dont want your girlfriend sticking her nose in my buisness all the time Jughead "
"Dont talk about her like that . So are you ?" He asked
"What?"
"Pregnant"
"She told you "
"She let it slip but thay doesnt matter are you ?"
"Betty cooper let it slip thats great but dont worry im not " i say before walking out of school and to the car park to see Reggie waiting for me.
"What took you so long ?"
"Just my brother "
"Okay you good to go ?" I nodded. Reggie sped off out of the car park. His car sped down through the empty part of the northside exceeding the speed limit . As he carelessly drove quickly through riverdale we found an empty car park that was usually always empty . Reggie did a few laps of the carpark speeding like he was a formula one driver making me laugh . Eventually after starting to feel a bit dizzy we parked up .
"Have you got the JJ?" I ask , i see his tanned hand lean into his jacket as he pulled out a few straws .
"If my mom finds out i have this she will kill me "
"She wont find out dont worry" i took a straw from his hand. I knew i shouldnt even be doing this . I heisitated as i went to open it thinking about Issac but i quickly wiped that thought out of my head and tipped my head back pouring the straws contents into my mouth. Reggie had already done his. We chatted for about half hour before the effects kicked in. I will never be able to fully describe the effect of Jingle Jangle but it makes everything better , i had no care in the world right his minute as me and Reggie giggled as we sat in the car.
"I love this song !" I say turning the volume up. Me and Reggie swayed about to the song that was playing in his expensive car sound system the vibrations making goosebumps appear up and down my arms.
"You know weve been through a lot me and you " i said.
"Tell me about it . Friends then friends with benefits. at one point you hated my guts "
"Some things never change i guess "
"Remember when you hit me that time "
"Yep and you complimented my right hook"
"Still got a good right hook"
"Like to think so " i say . We danced and jammed out to a few more songs as i looked at Reggie his pupils were fully dilated and his hair was all over the place.
"Shit " Reggie said as his phone rang interupting the music and then started laughing . We looked at the called id and it was his mom we just looked up at each other and then laughed once more. We was there for about another hour so it was about 10:30 . The jingle janglw had began to wear off .
"Ill drop you home "
"I cant go home like this "
"Do you wanna stay at mine " he asked and shot me a wink before laughing.
"Sunnyside trailer park " i say turning up the music as he drove me to the trailer park.
"Thanks for the ride and for tonight "
"Anytime Iv " he smiled at me his pupils still fully dilated i really hope mine wernt like this. I got out ofthe car as soon as i stepped out his car it was gone. I knew i couldnt go home because Fp would know i had been touching JJ and hit the roof and plus he thought i was staying at Veronicas . I ended up outside Sweetpeas trailer and banging on the door . The tall serpent opened the door . I walked past him and into the living room.
"I couldnt go home so i needed to go somewhere and this is where i ended up" he just nodded at me . I trailed off into the bedroom and fell onto the bed. Soon enough he came into the bedroom and turnt on the light.
"What you doing ?" I say covering my eyes
"Why couldnt you go home ?" He asked me
"Cause Fp would hit the roof and i dont have time for that" Sweetpea walked closer to the bed and then closer to me .
"Jingle Jangle really Ivy" he sighs before going to the kitchen and getting me a glass of water .
"Drink that" he ordered .
"Ill sleep on the sofa tonight  "'
"Dont be stupid " he threw me one of his flannels that i put on . He looked at my face examining it and he noticed my heavily dilated pupils. He switched the light back off and got in next to me . We both made a clear distance between us.
"Ivy you said to me you wouldnt touch Jingle Jangle" i heard him say.
"Its a complete gutter drug "' he added.  I didnt reply to him , my mind was wondering. I was compleatly filled with guilt 1) for saying to Sweetpea i wouldnt touch it 2) because my best friend well more like brother died from shit like this and i was just being careless and taking these straws . How could i do that to him .
A few tears rolled down my cheeks i quickly wiped them away but i couldnt stop them coming . I soon felt Sweetpea turn me around to face him.
"Im sorry" i stutter
"Ivy i can tell its not just that . Please just talk to me "
"I feel so guilty how could i do that when my best friend is dead because of stuff like that . How could i Sweetpea? I miss Issac so much and im stupid enough to do what i did. He always wanted the best for me yet i was in a car park getting as high as a kite and now sitting here in this mess . My lifes a mess Sweetpea an absolute mess . Im sorry about everything with us about the whole test thing but right now you seem to be the only thing that is keeping me together "
"Come here" he says as he pulled me into his chest .
"Im right here , always will be " he said quietly as he stroked through my brown hair .
