"Ivy " Mom said as i took a seat opposite her .
"Ive ordered you a burger an fries and a vanilla milkshake . There still your favourite right ?" She asked me . I gave her a nod and began to fiddle with my fingers , for some reason i was nervous .
"Ivy we really need to talk " she said
"Mom im going to put this out there , i cant deal with you coming in and out of my life . I cant deal with all the lies youve told me "
"Ivy i know ive massively fucked up " she said as i started eating my fries .
"I dont understand what you expect me to say "
"I still want to be apart of your and my grandchilds life "
"You only showed interest in me after you found out i was pregnant . You need to focus on your family and im going to focus on mine " i say
"This is it . Me and mine and Sweetpeas child have all the grandparents they need and that is Fp . I say taking another sip of my milkshake .
"Im not going to bring the stress of all of this into my new family . This is it " i say before standing up and going to leave but she follows me outside.
"Ivy stop a minute " i turned round and she wrapped her arms around me my eyes began to water slightly .
"Im sorry it had to be like this "
"Sometimes things just dont work maybe this is one of them things " i say to her . She kissed my head before i pulled away from her . She walked away , i took a deep breath before wandering to Sweetpeas trailer to see him sat on them steps outside smoking .
"Hold on what happened to quitting while i did " i say
"I havent smoked in weeks let me have this one " i gave him a nod and sat down next to him .
"How was the cinema ?" I ask
"Well Fangs was asking questions every two minutes and got us kicked out " he says with a laugh
"Im pretty sure Fangs wasnt the only reason you got kicked out " i say raising my eyebrows at him .
"Yeah yeah " he said putting out his ciggarette "come on its cold "He said leading me inside .
"Did you go to the dinner ?"he asked me
" Yeah "
"How was it ?"
"It was needed ive finally just cut all the ties . Ive got Fp , Jughead , you and our baby . Thats all the family i need " i say sighing "well and my sister of course " he wrapped his arm around me .
"Are you alright ?"
"Im fine im just so tired " i sigh
"Has he been kicking ?" He said going to get a beer from the fridge
"Pretty much all day " i say leaning my head back on the sofa
"He will be kicking ghoulies before you know it "
"No he will not " i say kissing his cheek and going to bed to get some much needed rest.
