All Hae-nim could see was darkness. Right after Sun Woo was hit in the head by a wooden log, she and Ah Ro were tied up and blindfolded as Jinheung strongly protested and threatened to kill the men.
She stood up from the ground and whistled, calling out to Liwen and Lu. The door of the room she was in burst open and she immediately backed away.
"Hae-nim!"
Hae-nim was cut free from her ropes and her blindfold was taken off, and Jinheung's handsome face came to view.
"Jinheung!"
Hae-nim breathed out a heavy sigh of relief and tightly embraced Jinheung. Jinheung's eyes widened for a moment before smiling in relief as he wrapped his arms around her and pulled her closer to his chest.
"Are you okay? Are you hurt?" Hae-nim asked, worriedly and pulled away from him as she checked if he was harmed.
Jinheung chuckled in amusement. "I am fine." he assured her.
Hae-nim glared at him as her vision blurred with tears. "You stupid king! When I saw you with a blade in your neck, I did not know what to do." she said, angrily and hit his chest with her hand. "I thought you---"
Jinheung grabbed her hand and pulled her to his chest. "Idiot." he mumbled and smiled warmly down at her. "I should be the one angry at you for getting yourself endanger."
Hae-nim sighed softly as she stayed in his embrace. "I whistled." she said.
Jinheung hummed. "Then, they will come."
Hae-nim nodded. "Where are Ah Ro and Sun Woo?" she asked, worriedly.
"Do not worry about them, they are safe. Pa Oh got here in time to help Sun Woo and I to fight those imbeciles." Jinheung told her.
Suddenly, they heard men yelling outside. Jinheung and Hae-nim blinked as they looked at each other.
"Ah, must be Liwen and Lu." Jinheung said, nonchalantly.
Hae-nim chuckled lightly and nodded in agreement. "We have to hurry. You are already late for your ceremony. I am sure you are going to make such a great entrance." she told him.
Jinheung laughed in amusement as he grabbed her hand and went outside. The two abruptly stopped in their tracks as soon as they saw Liwen and Lu surrounded the men they fought laying on the ground motionless.
