"You are getting weaker, Jiso."
Hae-nim stood beside Queen Jiso, who laid down on her bed, as she checked her pulse.
"I do not know if you are just brave, or simply crazy to continue drinking that poisoned tea. You will not live long."
Queen Jiso ignored what she said and smirked weakly. "I see you are back, but as Tian Feng, the Empress of China. Congratulations." she said, sarcastically.
Hae-nim faked a smile. "Sarcasm does not suit you." she mocked and gently placed her hand down on her bed. "And, I've always been the Empress of China."
"What are you doing here?" Queen Jiso asked.
"I have come back for Jinheung and Silla." Hae-nim answered.
Queen Jiso looked away. "Then go back to the Hwarang House." she said and clenched her fists angrily. "Hwarang is in need of a physician. My royal decree of Lady Dal-nim as Hwarang's Physician is still in effect."
"On my way here. The people outside the capital are sick and dying. Medicine has run out." Hae-nim told her.
Queen Jiso looked at her and frowned deeply. "What?"
"Silla has run out of star anise and other medicinal ingredients used for an epidemic. It will take time but wagons of them from China are on their way here. I will not let more of Jinheung's people die by this epidemic." Hae-nim said, sincerely and glared at her. "China have been exporting medicines and medicinal herbs to Silla for years, but suddenly the capital ran out? I found out that one of Silla's ministers has been buying all of them in the market and storing them inside his storage shed, waiting for the situation to worsen and sell the medicines and medicinal herbs for more than a gold's worth."
Queen Jiso's eyes widened. "Who? Who is it?"
Hae-nim sighed heavily. "Park Young Shil." she answered and Queen Jiso closed her eyes. "He is one of many thorns among the patch of flowers, yet the sharpest. I will help you bring him down."
Queen Jiso's eyes opened and stared at her in shock. "What? What did you say?"
"I will help you bring down Park Young Shil." Hae-nim repeated and smirked smugly. "You and I both know his power, his wealth and his influence are no match against mine. He may have Baekje's support, but that is nothing."
Queen Jiso remained silent, knowing she was right.
She narrowed her eyes in suspicion. "What do you want in return?" she asked.
