China, a vast country rich with resources, guarded by unchallenged and invincible military power, booming economy from trades around the world, and surrounded by an impenetrable great wall.
It was the golden age of China, and the reason were the Sun family.
As soon as the Suns claimed the throne, the country thrived. They have been the long reigning royal family in China. Many believed they were descendants of the Jade Emperor, blessed by the heavens to guide them to the right path, born as leaders and fated to rule the country.
At the beginning of one family's rule, their goal and priority was to make China a prosperous country, and etched their family name through history for making a powerful empire.
They slowly conquered nearby countries and kingdoms through trade, negotiations, and the last resort: war.
From emperors to another, generations to another, predecessors to successors, time came when the Sun bloodline started to decline.
Since they took their duties and responsibilities seriously and thoroughly as the rulers, they neglected their health and died from sickness of an unfortunate plague.
Sun Hae-nim, formally known as Tian Feng, was just a baby when she was crowned the Empress of the Sun Empire after her family died, making her the youngest ruler to ascend the throne.
Her name, Tian Feng, was given by her predecessors which meant the phoenix blessed by heaven.
Her name, Hae-nim, was given to her by her parents to honor their first ally, Silla, one of The Three Kingdoms in the east, which meant the sun.
Just before her father died, a foreign seer visited him and foreseen his daughter's future, so he made a series of royal decrees to protect her to continue what he and their predecessors have done:
With her being the last Sun and the youngest empress of the empire, she must be hidden from the world until her time would come for her safety from unwanted evil and harm;
The ministers, those most loyal to the Suns must teach the empress everything she needed to know;
The FengHuang army belonged solely to the empress and must protect her at all costs. The General of the Imperial Army of China will act as the General of the FengHuang Army until she would claim it as hers once again, and must be with her at all times;
No one shall enter or leave the Forbidden City without permission of the Imperial General till the empress has come of age.
The empress must cover her face with a mask to hide her identity from those unworthy to see her, and most importantly to protect her identity from the world outside as the most powerful being;
