Once I got back home I took a good long drink of whiskey from the fridge. On the way home I had come up with a new system. Every day once I got home from school I would drink until I fell asleep or passed out.
Not my best idea but it's the only one I got. Plus maybe I'll finally wake up on time.
Well, the plan almost worked. I woke up at seven thirty with a massive headache but that was the price I have to pay from now on. I get ready for school then grab some Advil and leave. Once at school I find my first-period class and explain to the teacher why I was away.
"I'm so sorry yesterday I forgot to set my alarm so I woke up late." The teacher nods his head "Some other students did the same. I hope to see you in class from now on." I nod my head showing that I would.
Ha sorry, not sorry but I'll be missing lots more classes.
The teacher shows me to my desk. More people had walked into class. My eyes lit up when I saw Ethan. He had his hood up on his tank top hoodie and he wore black ripped jeans with it. The purple streak in his hair really stood up. When he looked up he grinned as he sat down next to me.
"Guess you're going to help me pass the class," Ethan says nudging me. I feel my stomach fill with butterflies as I smile. "Ha, you'll be lucky to see me in class." Ethan frowns but doesn't say anything.
Damn. Guess I should at least come to this class if it means hanging out with Ethan.
After that Ethan and I don't talk much until I finally decide to give in. "You know I guess I could drop into this class more often." Ethan's face lights up "I'd like that." He says giving me a side smile.
This boy is driving me crazy and I only met him yesterday! I'm not good enough for him. He probably only drinks at parties maybe he's never had a drink I don't know. I'm no good for him I'd only make his life hell.
The bell rings and I look over at Ethan. "Let me see your schedule." I hand him the paper as we walk out of class. "Looks like we only have two periods together." I smile

"What other class do we have?" I ask looking at the paper "Second." I grin at him he looks at me and smiles "Shall we?" He asks giving me his arm I nod my head as we walk to class.
After class, we head down to the cafe. Waiting for us was Grayson. Ethan sits down next to me. "Hope you don't mind but I bought you lunch," Grayson says handing me a plate of mac & cheese. "Thanks, Gray!" I say taking the plate from him.
"I'll be back," Ethan says getting up to get his food. "I hope you like mac & cheese." I nod my head taking a fork full. "Yeah, I do thanks again, Gray." He waves his hand "Don't mention it."
I feel my phone vibrate in my pocket. I check my lock screen and see Erin had texted me.
"Where are you?"
I ignore her and put my phone away. "Everything okay?" Grayson asks I nod my head "Yeah just my Grandma asking if I'll pick up dinner." I lie taking another fork full. Ethan comes back the table with a grilled cheese and tomato soup.
He sits down as my phone rings. I look down and see it's Erin. "I'll be back," I say getting up from the table.

"where are you guys?!"-E
"In the cafe"- T
"On my way"- E
Damn, I wanted to spend time with Ethan. Then I had an idea. I go back into the cafe and sit down. "Hey, you guys want to hang out tonight," I ask casually eat some more food. They both nod their heads. "E give me your phone." He unlocks his phone then hands it over. I put my contact into his phone. "Text me later." I smile to myself
Nice! Now he has my number! damn I hope he remebers to text me...
