Hermione Granger sighed as she re-read her letters - or Ron's letter - to the wizards she had fallen hopelessly for throughout her years at Hogwarts.
The four letters that she had never intended to send to their right full owners. Each one reminded the bushy haired witch of how important each of these boys was to her in her life. But each one also reminded her of how impossible it was for her to be with any one of them.
And this reminder never ceased to break her shattered heart further.
But such is life. And life for the clever witch, she thought, seemed to resemble Hell.
These letters were the reason why she was so uptight, so encased in her studying.
Education seemed to be the only distraction from her complicated love life that occupied her mind long enough to help her get over each wizard she once wanted to be hers.
The wizards she wrote letters to......
Ronald Weasley.
Victor Krum.
Dean Thomas.
And Draco Malfoy.
"Well, she said to the darkness, "at least they'll never have to feel guilty for not returning my feelings, they won't even remember I existed in a couple of years. At least most of them won't..."
Thinking of her few wizards that she reserved a special place in her heart - mostly Ron - Hermione fell into a soft sleep.
She was unaware that only a few beds away a ginger haired witch had listened.
And Ginny Weasley intended to get Hermione Jean Granger one of the wizards she'd written to.
Even if the ginger had to invade a few personal boundaries...
