Cindi POV
Homecoming was in less then a week. Veronica and I are going dress and shoe shopping. And of course, Veronica is paying since she's filthy rich. It was finally Friday and I was in the middle of taking my test until someone passed me a note.

"Need help?" The note read and I turned around seeing Joshua mouth it. I looked down at my test and I realized I had no answers. I nodded and he passed me a sticky note with all the answers.

I quickly copied them down then crumbled up the evidence and handed my test paper to Mr. Felix. "Done already, dear?" He asked and I nodded. He took the paper and have me a thumbs up.

I sat down and mumbled a 'thank you' to Joshua and he nodded his head in return.

For science class, Mr. Smith said we had a project that we needed to do with a partner. Expect, he chose the person for us.

"Alright, Alice and Jacob, Dave and Emily, Shawn and David, Elizabeth and Mary, Ruby and Ashley, Micheal and Ariel, Carla and Diego, Jasmine and Andrew, Sabrina and Lori, and Jamie and Cindi," he read out. Many groaned and some cheered.

Jamie was kinda cute and had glasses. He was a quiet kid that always did his work, answered questions, and always stayed in the library with his free time. I got up and walked over to him.

"Hello, Jamie," I greeted, flashing a million-dollar smile. "H-hi, Cindi," he stuttered and I chuckled. "Are you okay?" I asked and he shook his head.

"I get nervous when girls talk to me."
"Well, no need to get nervous around me, partner," He smiled and fixed his glasses. "You probably hate me already." He looked down and I put my hand on his shoulder.

"No, I don't hate you." He smiled and Mr. Smith spoke up, "students, this project is due next Friday. You have to make a chart showing about genetics and heredity,"

Wait, next Friday! That's homecoming! But I still have time to get it done. "You may began working, once you figure out a plan." He sat down in his chair.

"Who's house?" He asked, taking off his glasses. Damn, without his glasses he looked more cuter.

"Yours?" He asked and I nodded. I know my dad wouldn't be cool with this, but it's just for a project. "Okay, if I could get your number..." He trailed off and I looked at him and saw he turned red.

"Of course, for the project." I ripped off a piece of paper and handed it to him, putting my number on it.

Lunchtime rolled around, and Joshua waved over Veronica and I to sit at his table. We took our trays and slowly made our way over.

Veronica sat by Phil, I sat by Joshua. He threw his arm around me and I leaned into his chest. "How was class?" He asked me and I said, "Good, expect I have to do a project with a boy." I mumbled and I could tell he was angry.

"And, Nothing is going to happen because your the only boy I want." I truthfully said and he calmed down. We ate our lunch in silence, seeing Phoebe and her cheerleading friends walk past us. She blew Joshua a kiss and I grew angry.

"Calm down, Didi." He whispered and just as I was about to get up, Joshua pulled me down. "She's not worth getting suspended." I nodded my head and sat back down.

Veronica and I walked into the mall, looking for a nice place to look for homecoming dresses.

"So, I'm going to the homecoming with Phil." She told me and I smiled.
"Really? That's great!" I gave her a hug and she hugged me back. "I know, Phil's a great guy and he seems really interested in me,"

"Yeah, Josh says he talks about all the time ever since the party." We continued walking, looking for cute dresses until we spotted a store.

"Ooo, how about this one?" I asked and Veronica held open the door. We walked in and saw it wasn't too busy with customers. "Hi, welcome to 'Occasion and Satisfaction' (made up store in my mind), how may I assist you?"

"Hi, we're looking for sexy homecoming dresses and shoes," Veronica said confidently, "well, my dear, you've come to the right place, follow me." We trailed behind her as she showed us some dresses.

"What color?"
"Bronze gold for me and for-"
"For me, a sparkling purple, Joshua and I thought about it when I was at his house one night."

"Bronze, I remember when I was around your age, my boyfriend and I at the team wore matching outfits. Unfortunately, his suit pants had ripped open when he bent down. He was embarrassed, so we left early. That was still one of the best nights of my life." She reminisced to us.

"What size are you guys?" She asked, taking a bronze dress off the rack. "14 medium and 12 medium for her, too," Veronica said and she nodded.

"Crystal, will you please help these young ladies look for shoes as I get some dresses from the back?"

"Of course," Crystal walked us over to a bronze rack and showed us some of the dress. "So, what's your price range?"
"Around $200?" I answered and Veronica just chuckled.

"No, no, around... 5,000 dollars," Veronica answered for me

"V, that's way too much money for a dress! Especially for only one night."

"Cindi, calm down. If you want, we can return it afterwards."

I nodded my head and continued looking. "How about this?" Crystal held up a gold dress. "Gold will work too," Veronica replied. "That is a beautiful dress, it will leave Joshua's mouth hanging." We both laughed and I took the dress from Crystal. "It's a 12 in medium," I mumbled holding it up into the light.

"Go try it on." Veronica said and I went into the dressing room. I stripped and was left in my undergarments. I slipped it on and looked at myself in the mirror. "Its cute," I said and smiled to myself. I walked out of the dressing room and showed it to Veronica and Crystal.
