I woke up to the aroma of breakfast items being cooked.I rubbed my eyes and remembered last night.A smile grew across my face as I sat there.

I got up to do my hygiene and flat iron my hair.I put my glasses on for the first time in a while.I didn't wear them a lot because I didn't want to look too weird - or nerdy.

I walked downstairs to see Jesus making the breakfast that I smelled.

"Good morning, sleepy head. How was your night?"He asked as he flipped a pancake.I sat on the island and began to talk to him.
"Amazing."The thoughts of the kiss - well, almost kiss - kept replaying in my mind.I smiled at the thought.
"Is it because of Kyle?"He cooed Kyle's name at the end.I rolled my eyes and looked at him.
"No.I've never been to Andretti's and it was beyond fun.Besides, me and him are just friends."I drank some orange juice that Jesus poured for me.Jesus looked at me like he didn't believe a word that I just said.
"Look, Kim, you don't have to lie to me.I'll always be here if you wanna talk, I promise you."I smiled and let those words sink in.I never really had anyone to fill my dad's place.
"Thank you, Jesus.I'll remember that."
"No problem, hun. Here's your plate of food. There's extras on the stove, but leave some for the boys, they tend to sleep in when we don't have anything planned for the day.Enjoy."Jesus smiled at me and wiped the counter down and went upstairs.

I got on my phone and called my mom.I haven't really spoke to her since I left.

"Hello?"She answered on the 3rd ring.
"Hey, mommy!"I always loved hearing her voice.
"Hey, baby, how's work?"
"It's just wonderful.I'm so happy here."I was so overfilled with joy.
"Hmmm, you must have found someone that you like or something. You never talk about work like this."She knows me way too well.
"Maybe."
"I wanna meet him."I laughed at her response.
"Mom, we're just friends."
"Not for long, I can feel it."I smiled at what she said.
"We'll see what Allah has in store for me."I said picking at my food.
"Yes we will, I have to get to the hospital to work on some procedures.Call me when you can honey.I love you."My mom said.
"I love you more, Mom.Have a great day at work."I said smiling.
"Thank you, baby.Let me know if anything else unfolds.Bye!"
"Bye, Mom."I hung up and smiled.I loved having talks with her.

I started to eat the food that Jesus made.It was absolutely amazing. But, not better than my mom's.Everything was cooked to perfection.

Suddenly, Kyle walks down the stairs and into the kitchen with no shirt on, just like when I first got here.I looked down at my food and pretended like I didn't see him.

"Good morning, Kim."Kyle smiled as he walked over to the table in front of the island.
"Good morning."I smiled back as I felt my heart speed up.
"Oh, yeah, I got something planned for us later."Kyle said while unlocking his phone.
"What is it?"
"You'll see, but just know that you're going to love it."I smiled at the thought of Kyle actually planning something for us.This all felt so surreal.
"Okay, okay.I guess I'll just have to wait until later."I said said popping some bacon into my mouth.
"Wear something really nice, by the way."I raised an eyebrow as I drank my orange juice.
"Kyle, you didn't have to spend a lot of money on whatever you have planned.I am not that important."
"I don't want to ever hear you say that again, you are important. And this is out of the kindness of my heart so I can do what I please with my money, right?"Kyle asked with his hand out.
"Yeah, you're right."I said, finishing my breakfast.
"That's right."Kyle winked at me causing me to blush for the 100th time in the past few days.

The guys all started to trickle down one by one for breakfast.I couldn't stop thinking about what Kyle could have planned for us.I guess he was really starting to like me.
