Touka woke up early in the morning. 'Ugh, what time is it?' She thought. 6:30... too early. Guess I'll use this time to research. She opened her phone- no, TRIED to open her phone, but as she pressed on the home button Siri said, "Good morning." in its usual monotone voice. "Shut up, stupid Siri.." she muttered and looked for articles about her research project.

"Where's Hinami?" she asked Nishiki and he ignored her. She just snuck her tongue out at Nishiki and went to school. 'Hope we don't run out of coffee beans again.. that's a real pet peeve!' What she did not know? The things happening in school.

"Do you like Kaneki for real, Touka?" Yoriko asked during lunch. "I mean, people in Asian History class were saying so." Touka coughed at the last sentence and drank water quickly. "Are you kidding me?" She said, with a hard-as-a-stone expression. "That is RIDICULOUS." Though Touka's face was stern, she hoped that Kaneki couldn't hear her. I mean, wasn't it true? She wasn't interested in boys unlike all the other girls.

"So, um, should we start?" Touka asked Kaneki. "Ok... let's start researching first though." Kaneki said, his face pink and cute like always. 'What am I THINKING?!' Touka thought, her head feeling like it would explode soon. Though she felt like going to sleep, she tried her best in the research project.

"Hey, you the girl Kaneki likes? Or the girl that likes Kaneki?"
"Hm?" Touka looked at the direction the sound was coming from and there were some big girls that were in her Asian history class. They were known to be mean and sneaky.
"Ugh, you guys?" Touka said, and started to head toward the cafe. At the sound of them coming toward her, she just kept walking. "She's an easy target!" The "leader" shouted and kept coming at her with her troop. When they came close, Touka merely stopped and stretched her leg out so that her foot pushed their leg, and they fell.
"Ughhhhh!" She shouted, took Touka's wrist and started to drag her down the street into the corner. But then...
"Hey! What're you DOING?!" Kaneki said, running down the street.
"What is JUST WRONG with you, Kurona?" Kaneki yelled at her and she seemed shocked and nervous.
"Kaneki.. It's not as it seems..." she started, but Kaneki just took Touka's wrist and started toward Anteiku.
"Wai- you know what, I'm NOT LETTING YOU GO!" Kurona's voice seemed to crack, and her kagune popped out.
