Unexpected

♥️First Date♥️

After Kaneki had kissed Touka on the cheek, they began actually walking to school together... and Yoriko talked about them dating everywhere, of course. But then, Kaneki asked Touka out for the prom happening in their high school to be his date. An actual one.
**Note: this is the text, 📮=Touka and
📨=Kaneki**

📨: Hi Touka, do you want to go to the prom with me?

Touka was not sure, since she did want to go but she was afraid people would suspect she's a ghoul if she didn't eat or drink anything but coffee. However, Yoriko quickly snatched her phone and sent:

📮: Sure.

📨: I'll see you at the entrance of the place then, at 7 pm.

Touka was busy yelling at Yoriko when she sent another text-

📮: Okay, see you then.

Kaneki POV~
'Yay! She said yes without even considering too much or sending something like a no... I guess I'll go see where I could get something to wear for the prom now. This is easier than I thought, wow.'
He soon took off to find a place for him to find a tuxedo.

Touka POV~
Yoriko was smiling and waving Touka's phone around everywhere when she quickly snatched it back- which made her friend shout, "Hey!!" with an disappointed face, like this

"Ugh! What have you done?!" Touka shouted at Yoriko, and she said, "Well, do you not want to go?" which made Touka blush and say, "N-no! I want to... It's just because you made this without my permission...!" At that, her friend soon became in the mood to tease her, and dragged her, saying "Well then, let's go get dresses for the prom- you're not going to go to Kaneki-kun in your school outfit, are you?". However, she added, "I need one too, since Hide invited me to the prom as well." and blushed.

"Hey!! That and you only tease me?! Tease yourself!"shouted Touka, tapping her friend's shoulder furiously.

After school, the two girls went to the mall to get themselves dresses for the prom. They found the ones they wanted pretty soon- they looked like this.

Touka and Yoriko waited for their boyfriends to come to the entrance, and soon they came, they were off to the party. Hide soon began asking Yoriko if she wanted to go to the dessert zone, but Kaneki who was just so new to this party couldn't seem to fit in, and Touka dragged him to go to meet her friends.
"Rize! Hiiiiii!" As soon as Touka went up to Rize with Kaneki's hand in hers, Rize raised her eyebrow and said, "Well I can't still believe you're in love with him... what made you change your mind? I thought you weren't interested in having boyfriends...?"
"Stoppit, Rize..." Touka blushed and quickly ran away, unlike her usual self.

Touka was sitting on the chair in the room while Kaneki got the two some coffee, and Kaneki decided to ask why she changed her mind against him to even date him.
"Touka?" "Hmm?" Touka looked up from her coffee and Kaneki shyly asked, "Why did you choose to date me?"
Touka's face became a little bit pink, but she said, "Well, let's just say I missed you too, dummy." Saying that, she kissed him on the cheek, and he flushed red.

The next day they went to the mall together with Hinami- they were looking for a rabbit hairpin for Touka.
"I like this one- what do you think?" Touka asked, putting on a hairpin that looked like this:

Hinami was busy looking at the hair bands in another section not so far away from the couple- she seemed to be looking for one that looked like the one her mom had once given her.
"Too bad Hinami-chan's mom was deceased trying to protect Hinami.." whispered to Kaneki. Kaneki at that patted Touka's shoulder.
