There is a theory that I found on the internet concerning the movie "Up" which tells us that Carl Fredrickson had died the night before he was supposed to be taken to the retirement home, and his last dream is the main plot of Up. But not of it is real.
There is plenty of evidence that supports this theory. For example, he was able to fulfill the life-long dream he and his wife shared. He was able to meet his childhood hero. He flew the famous Spirit Of Adventure which he dreamed of flying since he was a child, and there are plenty more things to support this.
