A long time ago, I did a fact saying how Walt Disney himself considered making a Beauty and the Beast movie but thought the story was too complicated to put in motion picture format.
Well, similar to that, when Walt Disney was working on Mary Poppins, he considered making an animated Princess and the Pea movie. Like he did with Beauty and the Beast, he ultimatley decided not to, but unlike Beauty and the Beast, it was because he thought Princess and the Pea's story was too simple.
