Chapter 3: Since I Made A Fan Account

Nagsimula na rin ako manood ng games nila live sa ABS-CBN Sports

"Ano nakain mo? Diba hindi ka naman mahilig sa basketball?" Sabi ni Mommy.

"Uhhm, napanood ko kasi sila sa Youtube, magaling sila. At saka for a change susubaybayan ko UAAP this season"

"Okay sige."

Hindi ko sinabi sa mommy ko na kaya ako nanonood ay dahil bagong crush ko yung player ng La Salle. Never ko kasing pinakita sa kanila na kinilig ako. Lumaki ako na ang alam ng pamilya ko yung sinusuot ko ay puro maluluwag na t-shirts at mahabang pants. More on boy-ish type talaga ako at di ko trip yung mga girly na dapat kahit minsan aaminin ko gusto ko suotin. Pero ako kasi yung tipo na pipiliin yung comfort over fashion.

So hanggang ngayon nahihiya ako at umiiwas kapag tinatanong ako kung may crush ba daw ako o kung kailan ako magkakaboyfriend.

Naalala ko nung high school ako tinanong ng kaklase ko yung teacher namin kailan sya nagka-boyfriend. Ang sabi nya "3rd Year College".

Tapos nasa isip ko noon "parang ang tagal naman noon, late bloomer ata si Ma'am"

Now look who's talking!!! Girl ikaw ngayon yung late bloomer. 3rd year na ako, aaminin ko minsan naiingit ako sa mga kaibigan ko na mayroon mga boyfriend o girlfriend Yung bang mayroon kang karamay sa lahat, mayroon sweet sayo, you know "couple things".

But when I see them fight over petty things, I say "Thank God, I'm single."

Actually it's not a big deal for me, unless mayroon mga taong bino-bother ako about it or make me feel bad about it.

Wanting to be busy over random thinking, instead na mag-aral at gumawa ng requirements (since pagod na ako dun), I made a new Twitter account.

Nahihirapan ako mag-isip ng username until I though of cherry blossoms para tunog aesthetic and Ricci's nickname si "Cci" so I made a pun about it and created "cci-rry blossoms"

Pagkatweet syempre automatic na. Finollow ko na si Ricci, yung accounts ng family niya, si Brent, at lahat ng Green Archers (Team A) and even some from Team B. Also, pati fellow fans na sa palagay ko makakakuha ako ng updates. Haha.

Hindi na ako bago sa stan twitter community. I've been a fan of a lot of bands, pero I stopped because of school. Sometimes feeling ko buong araw na ako doon because I felt the friends I made there were better than the ones I have in real life.

It was consuming me. So I deactivated for good.

This time around, I know that I should limit myself friending other fans. Pwede naman mag-usap without fully opening myself to them. Syempre, the main reason lang naman kung bakit lang ako gumawa ng account is to be updated sa Green Archers.

Ricci's POV

Kakatapos lang ng practice, since weekend naman kinuha ko lang yung iba kong gamit sa dorm at diretso na kami ni Ahia sa bahay sa Pasig. Since si kuya naman magdadrive, nagcheck ako ng Twitter.
