We all know that true life is famous for its always present never failing supply of round rock donuts on Sunday morning... but what happens when they go missing??
Ava pulled out of the lot, anxiously checking the mirrors for traffic. She turned into the main road, and travelled down the highway until they came into a neighborhood.
The houses were lined up on either side of the street, all two story manors made of wood or stone. Siri instructed Ava to turn right on the next stop sign. Ava turned slowly. "I think they live right down here..." Jazmin said, looking at the iPhone map and then turning her attention down the road. Indeed, a familiar house stood in the inside of a cove, white and wooden. The lights were on upstairs and figures could be seen moving about inside.
Ava slowed down even more, and was preparing to park when the iPhone rang. Everyone in the car jumped, and Marcus reached to answer. He turned it onto speaker. Michelle's voice rang out through the vehicle. "Hey. Um.. Have you seen our car?" She asked. "You disappeared around the time it did."
Marcus looked at the girls, who both shook their heads. Marcus hung up, his face blank. Jazmin screamed "Don't hang up! That makes us look SOOO guilty!!" Ava rolled her eyes and slumped back into the seat. "Theft and I'm only 15. I will never get a job." Marcus threw the phone out the window and it clattered onto the road and slid into the drain. Jazmin turned around and smacked Marcus with the back of her hand. "WHAT DID YOU DO THAT FOR!!" She screamed. Marcus:

"I didn't know what to do!! You shook your heads at me!" He shouted. Ava whipped around. "that was MY phone." Jazmin looked angrily at him.
At the intensity of the girl's glares, Marcus leaped out of the open window and out onto the road. "YOU CANNOT ABORT!" Ava shouted, parking the car directly in the middle of the street and leaping out after Marcus, who was running down the street towards the white house. Jazmin jumped out too, unsure what to do. As Marcus neared the house, he tripped on a long, clear fishwire pulled tight between two curbs. As he landed face first on the ground, Ava stopped and backed up. "MY BEAUTIFUL FACE!" He screamed in his British accent. Ava yelled to Jazmin and pulled Marcus up. "A BOOBY TRAP. I think" The two ran back towards the car. "RUN!"
As soon as she said that, the firehidrant across the street erupted in a giant explosion of water. The hydrant shot its contents in all directions, sending the bartenders flying across the street. The only direction it wasn't shooting water at was towards the house of the supposed donut thieves.
Jazmin hooked arms with both of her coworkers as the flow pushed them down the street and up against Matt and Michelle's car. "Get in the car!" Marcus screamed, and they did, opening the doors slipping in. Ava slammed on the windshield wipers, though they didn't do much against the raging fire hydrant. She hit the ignition, and the car pushed forward slowly. They couldn't see anything except water. Marcus yelled "Turn on the HPS!" Ava shook her head. "I DONT KNOW WHAT THAT IS!!!"
"THE HURRICANE PROTECTION SYSTEM™, here," Marcus reached forward and opened the glove box, where he flipped a big orange switch. The car gave an odd jerk, and began to drive very very fast. Ava let go of the wheel. The car tilted upwards until it had made its way ontop of the fire hydrants waterflow, and was pushing against the currant. Soon, the car had made it safely into the yard of the white house.
"How did I not know that was there." Ava said. Jazmin grabbed the phone and rung her sister, detective Ellie. "Hey, I kinda forgot about you. But I wanted to let you know that we are safe and we are at the residence of the culprits. I have a question: what do we do now?" Jazmin turned the phone onto speaker mode. Ellie spoke. "We know you're safe! We're watching the whole thing on live-stream from the GoPro on your head, Marcus," The girls turned. There was indeed a GoPro on Marcus' head. "But, Michelle and Matt are pretty nervous about your car. We managed to hold them off from calling the cops though by telling them it was stollen by some raccoons and that John and Ian are chasing after them. Actually, John and Ian are hiding in a closet right now."
"As for confronting the... say, other group, I would break the door down, steal back the donuts and fight if you must, and then, come back ASAP. Church is over in 30 minutes!" Ellie finished. She hung up. Ava and Jazmin and Marcus hopped out of the car and circled up. They needed a plan, and they needed it fast.
