A picturesque white landscape of a snowy cliff. Making her way down, the last chair makes (Y/N) slip, falling and her knuckles turning white as she grips onto the handrail.
''Welcome.'' Nate says, the two hanging on the handrail.
''Sure, be the hero, rescue Chloe.'' She tuts and he rolls his eyes. ''Brilliant.''
They begin to climb around and Nate groans from his wound. "Oh, what was I thinking?'' He mutters as he slowly climbs the train's chassis.
The train suddenly shakes and a large boulder falls from the edge of the cliffs above. (Y/N) is quick to press herself against the train and the boulder hurtles past.
''Be a lot easier just to let go.'' Nate states and (Y/N) looks back up.
''You were just trynna do what was right, Nate, you're a good guy like that.'' She says and they start climbing again.
Climbing, another boulder falls from above and hits the train, breaking away part of it as it falls past them.
''Oh come on. How 'bout a break?'' (Y/N) groans, following Nate onto the pipe running along the side. ''Gotta be a big hero, dont'cha?'' Nate whispers.
''Nate, stop beating yourself up over it.'' She breathes just as the pipe breaks. He jumps up and the pole breaks away, swinging him out and around to the side. Nate swings across and jumps with (Y/N) following.
''They don't build 'em like they used to.'' Nate jokes and they climb up through the carriage. The seat he is on breaks and swings into the window, taking him back outside.
''Oh... shit...'' He groans and (Y/N) jumps up. ''What else could go wrong?'' She states, following Nate and climbing out of the broken window.
He begins to climb up the rest of the pole and she follows close behind. ''Hope this one holds.'' He says.
As he goes to the top, the train shifts and edges closer off the cliff, making a door swing open. (Y/N) makes her way up first, helping Nate up and he groans in pain. ''Oh, man, I'm so tired of climbing shit.'' He admits.
They haul themselves up onto the second carriage and it slides more. ''That's not a good sign.'' (Y/N) whispers and they stand at the end of the second carriage. The train creaks and moans under their weight, shifting forward once again.
She wastes no time in pushing Nate forward, stumbling over his feet and they run through the carriage and Nate jumps, landing on the mountain.
''(Y/N)!'' He yells and she pushes her feet off the ground, grabbing the edge of the mountain and struggling to maintain a grip. She looks down as the train crashes and bounces off the cliff, falling into the white abyss below.
Nate lies on the floor, grabbing her hands as he helps heave her up onto the mountain. He falls back on the floor, hissing through his wound.
''Nate, we have to move, let's go.'' (Y/N) says, pulling him up and beginning their treacherous journey through the snow.
The two struggle to move through the snow, it passing just over their ankles and they move towards the golden glint of the dagger.
Nate drops to his knees and so does (Y/N). He pulls the dagger out of the snow, dragging himself to lean against the debris and she collapses next to him, keeping close for the warmth.
His blood stained hands grip the Phurba and he leans back against the debris. A sudden sound of engines and (Y/N)'s head snaps up. She shifts herself, peeking out to see two trucks pull up and soldiers jump out.
''Ah, crap.'' She mutters, falling back and Nate looks at her. "This is not good.'' She shakes her head and he sighs, pulling out his gun and loading it.
—
They take out the first, second and third wave of soldiers. As they were doing it, a gas tank on a train car nearby explodes and they approach it, the blizzard blowing them back.
''I'm either gonna bleed out or I'm gonna climb out.'' Nate grits his teeth and he slowly climbs up and out of the crash site. (Y/N) follows behind and he places his arm around her neck as she puts hers on his waist.
''Shit, it's cold.'' She mumbles and they slowly wade through the snow. Their vision is hazy from the heaviness of the blizzard and Nate staggers forward.
The two walk through this for a while before it finally takes its toll and he falls forward, his arm dropping. He was absolutely covered in snow, his breath icy and (Y/N) grabs his arm, hauling him with the little strength she had.
They manage to make a few more steps before Nate falls on his knees. He then falls forward, lying down in the snow.
''Nate.'' (Y/N) whispers , her voice barely there and she kneels next to him, trying to shake him awake. He lies still, his eyes closing completely.
''Nate.'' She repeats, but he doesn't move and she looks around. She squints, eyeing a man walking towards them with a stick for hiking.
(Y/N) frowns, the black seeping in the corner of her eyes before filling and she goes face down into the snow.
