*I lost an object that was quite important to me. At first, I was distraught. Ultimately, I decided that the best thing to do was let it go. By the way, this poem is not related to the song titled "Let It Go" from the Frozen film soundtrack. Additionally, it does not have the same tempo. It is much slower. It is kind of like a Broadway performance. At least, that's what I imagined as I 'performed' it in front of my mirror. Thus, I included some 'performance notes' alongside the poem. The dashes within the poem indicate a drawn out note. If you ever lose a significant item, you can perform this poem and maybe you'll feel better. I did! Thank you for your support and for reading this lengthy monologue! Enjoy!*
