Chapter IV

The trio walked away from the conference room. Addison looked at Kira with a soft smile.

"You alright?" She asked gently, "Alec can be a real jerk.. But I guess he's getting detention." She shuddered as if detention was something she really didn't want to talk about.

Kira nodded. "Never been better." She replied.

After Addison and Trevor had given orientation, Trevor gently waved goodbye, and teasingly picked Kira up while hugging her.

After the goodbyes with Trevor, Addison walked Kira to the girls' dorms.

"I'd suppose after that long encounter with Alec, everyone else is asleep," Addison muttered as the doors to the dorm swung open for them. Everyone was, as Addison had said, asleep.

Kira stepped a bit closer to Addison, slightly fearful that she was stepping into more unknown territory. Addison noticed and smirked.

"Don't worry about the other students, most of them are nice." She said gently, but then mumbled to herself, "Besides the ones in Anarchy."

"Anarchy?" Kira looked at Addison confusedly. Addison looked at her, slightly impressed that she'd heard the last part of her sentence.

They entered their dorm room. Inside, Kira found a bunk bed and two separated closets. One was labelled elegantly with her name, and inside that, Kira found a week's worth of uniforms - a fuchsia skirt that went to her knees, topped with a crimson shirt imprinted with the school's logo.

"Weird colour scheme." Kira mused, "But I'm not complaining."

Addison nodded and told her it was the school's odd colour scheme.

As soon as she closed her eyes and was about asleep, a soft, blue light shone in her face. She looked up to see that the school's schedule had been updated for the next day. It seemed weird, having the schedule change each day. Addison was looking at her laptop.

"Kira? You still awake?" She whispered.

"Yes." Kira whispered back, "Class tomorrow at 10 AM?"

"Yup," Addison whispered and fell asleep.
