- Author's Note - Yeah, so this chapter is going to be really short. Like REALLY short. It's more of a chapter to segway into chapter nine, but I wanted to have something here so the plot made sense. Sorry this chapter is so short! :( -
Prologue
"Romeo lunged at her, his fists already in the air."
- Present -
Sara yelped and fell to the ground, watching helplessly as Romeo's fist flew violently over her head, probably with enough for to knock somebody out with a single blow.
Kira pulled him back with all the strength she had. Romeo struggled, trying to get free and most likely kill Sara, but the door to the room Addison was in opened.
Addison walked over to them and stopped a couple of steps before where the door had been if it had been closed.
"Oh hell no." Sara screamed, running off.
Addison creepily stared perfectly at Sara as she ran, almost locking onto her. Then her head turned back to Romeo, Nico, and Kira at an insane speed.
She spoke in a voice that was far from hers, her lips not moving in the slightest.
"You're not supposed to be here." The voice said.
The trio ran like their life depended on it, seeing Addison creepily stare at them the same way they had with Sara. The door slammed closed.
"Get as far away as we can from that room." Nico muttered. And for the first time in his life, Romeo agreed with staying far away from Addison. They hid in the farthest corner of the school, in a small closet that had no cameras, and looked like a simple supply closet to the outside viewer. It was 2 AM, and nobody was outside the closet, or so Kira thought.
Footsteps rocked the hallway, sounding like giants pounding through the silence. Romeo wrote something on a piece of paper, trying to make the pencil's lead as quiet as possible against the paper.
"It could just be Sara?" the paper read. Kira took the paper and wrote just as silently.
"Let me check." Her note read. She looked under the door and upon seeing who it was, gasped and threw herself back against Romeo's chest, gently, but with enough force to show she was scared.
He ran his finger through her hair gently and gave her the paper.
"IT'S ADDISON.." Kira wrote shakily in all capital letters. Romeo held his breath and Nico, after reading the note, did the same. Huddled against each other shaking, they sat there, waiting to see what would happen.
Another set of footsteps sounded the other side of the hallway.
"Addison?" The headmaster muttered, "They didn't find out, did they?"
- To Be Continued in Chapter Nine-
- Author's Note 2 - Less than 500 words. I feel like Chapter I Tyler again, writing stupidly short chapters. I feel so bad this is so short, but I promise in the next chapter I will get it back up to at least 750 words. I'm sorry this isn't long like it should be. - Ty
