It's getting dusky for five in the evening. Kodoku and Jikan were still awake sitting in the back doing nothing but looking out of their windows; looking at the god rays the beautiful cherry blossoms produce.

Nami drove the car nearing a shrine, surrounded with lots of Japanese architecture, and even more cherry blossoms. "We're here, kids." Nami said parking the car and removing her seat belt.

Kodoku and Jikan stretched and yawned, extending their arms around the car. Kodoku removed his seat belt and opened the door to stand outside for a little bit, until Jikan opened her door and went over to Kodoku.

"How are you holding up, Kodoku?" Jikan asked.

Kodoku looked at Jikan, "Even better now that you're here with me."

Jikan smiled, "Aw!"

"How are you holding up?" Kodoku asked.

"Even better now that you're here with me!" Jikan laughed.

"Your so sweet, Jikan." Kodoku said. "You don't even know how sweet you really are."

Jikan realized what good she is doing, she really didn't know how sweet she was.

"Hey kids, lets go." Nami said.

Kodoku and Jikan walked to a dirt path to descending to lower ground where lots of people where.

The people were wearing dry formal suits, while the two are wearing their school uniforms. Kodoku looked at his clothing, Jikan noticed him.

"Hey, at least we came from school." Jikan said.

"Yeah, but, this is a wedding!" Kodoku said.

"Besides, I think you look nice anyway!" Jikan said.

"Hm?" Kodoku said in his head. "Well, you look nicer than me anyway!"

"No!" Jikan insisted. "You look nicer by a mi--"

"Can you guys cut it out over there?" Some little boy said behind us while we were walking down to the wedding area.

"Psh, little boy..." Kodoku said.

"Leave him alone, he's just a kid." Jikan said.

Kodoku sighed, "Okay, fine..."

Kodoku and Jikan got to the bottom of the hill and found an empty table for two people.

They both sat down at the same table.

"Beautiful place isn't it?" Jikan asked to start up a conversation.

"Osaka is beautiful enough, Kyoto is also really beautiful." Kodoku said. "The cold air, and the calm winds make this scenery match so well with the environment."

"Yeah." Jikan said, putting her left palm under her chin, and putting elbow on the table.

"But Osaka also has good calm winds and cold air... the problem is Kyoto and Osaka are different places." Kodoku stated. "You still look beautiful though, Jikan."

Jikan smiled, "Really?!"

"In fact you are more beautiful than Kyoto and Osaka combined." Kodoku said on the spot.

Oh crap, I wanted to keep my lines subtle!

"You're too sweet, Kodoku!" Jikan poked her pointer finger on Kodoku's nose. "I would say you're also as handsome as Kyoto and Osaka combined as well!"

"No way I am..." Kodoku sighed.

"You are though!" Jikan insisted. "You're handsome for me!"

"You're beautiful for me!" Kodoku said.

"Guys!" Some middle aged man in a suit interrupted the two, "The speeches are starting, you can't miss it!"

Kodoku and Jikan stood up off their chairs and followed the man. The man led the two to a cluster of people in front of a small wedding cake and a glass speech podium.

"You call this a mini-wedding?" Kodoku was overwhelmed on the amount of people there.

"It is a mini-wedding." Jikan replied. "You're overthinking it."

"I just don't like crowds that much..." Kodoku softly said.

"You'll get over it..." Jikan said.

The crowd of people stopped talking when the main couple stepped to the front of the podium.

The man got the microphone off the podium, "Hello everyone, my name is Takoma if you haven't already known."

The crowd laughed.

"I'm announcing that me and my lovely wife Chikia are getting married on November next year." Takoma said.

The crowd interrupted Takoma with an applause.

"Who is he? How is he related to you, or anyone in your family?" Kodoku asked Jikan silently while Takoma was giving his speech.

"Takoma-san is my mom's cousin." Jikan replied. "That's why we're here."

"I feel like this is going to take a while. This seems like a long speech.

"I think it will be a long speech. Maybe longer than you think." Jikan said.
