Kodoku wants to ask out a girl he's been in love with since 9th grade junior high; her name is Jikan. The problem is, he doesn't know how to approach her. The other problem is that homecoming is only three days away. What will Kodoku do to deal with...
At 2:00 PM, lunch time started after he was done with Photography class in another room.
Kodoku got his lunch out of his locker first, then he put his canon camera in his locker and went off.
Ah, 10 pieces of sushi. I might give 5 to Jikan if she wants.
"What's up, Ko!" Duro came up behind me.
"Oh hey, Duro!" Kodoku replied "What do you have for lunch?"
"Just some udon my mom cooked last night." Duro opened the container he had in his hands, revealing the udon. "Although, I think the noodles are cold now, I should probably heat them up. Anyway, what do you have for lunch?"
"I have 10 dragon roll slices, sushi." Kodoku replied. "Your Udon sounds nice, yeah, heat that up!"
"Yeah, I will!" Duro closed his container and bowed, "Itakimasu!"
"Itakimasu!" Kodoku bowed back and walked in the opposite direction Duro was going.
Kodoku walked to the cafeteria and went outside the cafeteria doors to eat outside in the courtyard. The cool breeze hit his body as he touched the outside air of Japan.
Kodoku noticed Jikan is already waiting on a bench under a cherry blossom tree with a view of the river behind her. Kodoku slowly walked towards Jikan, thinking how he should approach her.

"Hi, Kodoku!" Jikan waved excitingly. "Come sit!"
"H-Hi, Jikan!" Kodoku tried hard not to nervously stutter. "Wonderful weather, huh?" Kodoku gently sat down next to Jikan.
"Yeah! Wonderful weather, it is Osaka, grateful to be living here." Jikan said.
"Yeah, I'm happy that I'm living in such a nice place, a nice environment." Kodoku said.
"Also, the lovely view the school has," Jikan looked behind the bench to see the view, "Beautiful river, and more land behind it."
Kodoku also looked at the view, her narration made the moment more sweet to him.
The view is pretty nice, now that I realize it.
"The cherry blossoms, the shrines, the clouds, the sun." Jikan described the environment with a light, heavenly voice.
"So beautiful." Kodoku said.
"Beautiful, isn't it?" Jikan said.
"All of these beautiful things you are pointing out, they describe how you look to me, Jikan." Kodoku confidentially said. "In fact, you are more beautiful than this place to me."
Jikan pulled back and smiled, she had never gotten such a line like that from Kodoku, ever. "You are too sweet, Kodoku!"
Oh, uh... That slipped out of my mouth!
Jikan stood up off the bench and looked down at Kodoku. Kodoku decided to stand up too.
Jikan pulled Kodoku to her and hugged Kodoku really tight. Kodoku hugged Jikan as well, really tight.
Jikan started tearing up in happiness. "Kodoku, I never knew you could say something so sweet to me!"
"Uh, you're just too beautiful!" Kodoku said.
"Ah!" Jikan cutely laughed and hugged Kodoku tighter.
Kodoku and Jikan let go of each other and smiled at each other for a bit.
"Oh, I forgot it's lunch!" "Oh, I forgot it's lunch!"
Kodoku and Jikan both said at the same time in the same way. They smiled at each other again and laughed it off.
"Well, I have 10 slices of dragon roll sushi." Jikan opened the container she had in her hands.
"Dah!" Kodoku saw the roll and it was the same exact type of sushi as Kodoku. "I also have 10 slices of dragon roll sushi!"
Jikan laughed, "What?! What a coincidence!"
Kodoku and Jikan sat back down on the bench Jikan was sitting on earlier, but Kodoku wanted to sit somewhere else with Jikan.
"Do you just want to stand up against the rail to see the view?" Kodoku asked.
"Sure!" Jikan stood up, "I want to feel the wind more anyway."
"Yeah, I want to feel the wind too." Kodoku stood up off the bench and walked with Jikan.
The two started eating their dragon sushi with their chopsticks.
"Don't you love the October wind?" Kodoku asked.
"I love the Fall weather in general. Especially winter." Jikan took a bite of sushi.
"I love winter too, I just like the cold." Kodoku said.
"Me too!" Jikan said.
Kodoku has three sushi left, he decided to save it since he was full already; or so he thought he was full. Kodoku stopped eating so he could think about Jikan. Kodoku wondered though, if Jikan was still hungry. Jikan is eating her sushi so fast.
"Jikan, do you want more sushi?" Kodoku asked.
"Maybe, if I'm not full." Jikan replied.
"Okay!" Kodoku closed his sushi container and looked at the view while quickly glancing at Jikan once in a while.
Jikan finished her stash of sushi, it was up to her if she wanted more sushi out of Kodoku's batch.
"Ah." Jikan sighed as she finished her last sushi.
"Do you want more?" Kodoku asked.
"No thank you, very kind of you to ask though!" Jikan kindly refused the offer.
"LUNCH ENDING NOW! GO BACK TO CLASS!" One of the male lunch monitors yelled so the whole outside can hear.
"Well, I guess I'll see you la---" Kodoku put his container in his lunch bag, Jikan stopped him though.
"Meet me at the tree, later after school." Jikan put a finger on Kodoku's lips to silence him.
"Oh-Okay!" Kodoku said.
Jikan waved, "See you later!" She walked into the building.
