"Today is the day!" Kodoku said waking up from his alarm from the good amount of sleep he got.
Kodoku quickly went to the bathroom and took a long hot shower. Then he thoroughly brushed his teeth. He combed his hair thoroughly to make it look really nice. Line in the middle and the hair going down the side of his face.
Kodoku got out of the bathroom and went to his room where his purple suit is.
He took time putting on the suit, so the suit won't look odd on him.
Tsuruna knocked on the door to Kodoku's room. "Are you busy?"
"Not really." Kodoku replied.
Tsuruna opened the door and sat on Kodoku's bed.
"What are you doing up so early?" Kodoku wondered. "You usually wake up later than me."
"I mean, I did sleep pretty late last night." Tsuruna said.
"What time did you sleep?" Kodoku asked.
"Around Two o'clock." Tsuruna replied. "I woke up from your alarm."
"That's nice to hear my alarm is loud..." Kodoku replied.
"Looking good, Bro." Tsuruna said.
"Thanks, Sis." Kodoku closed up his blazer after putting on his dark purple tie.
Kodoku slowly inhaled and exhaled and went to his computer and turned it on.
"Are you nervous about Homecoming?" Tsuruna asked.
"A little." Kodoku replied. "This is very special to me, and I don't want to ruin the moment between us.
"Use this time to prepare for Homecoming." Tsuruna said.
"I will." Kodoku said.
5:00PM
"Alright Kodoku, are you ready?" Kodoku's mom opened the door to his room.
"Yeah, let's go." Kodoku got off his chair and went downstairs to the front foyer.
Kodoku's mom got her keys to her car and opened the front door. She unlocked the doors of her car, Kodoku went to the front passengers seat door and opened it.
He sat down and waited for his mom to get in the car to start it up.
Kodoku's Mom started up the car and drove off.
"Where is this going to take place?" Kodoku's Mom asked.
"Where the Hanami Festival takes place." Kodoku replied.
"Oh that place!" Mom said. "That place must've been a lot to pay for."
"Yeah. It was a lot actually." Kodoku replied.
