                                               Arctica's P.O.V.

My brother was absorbed in conversation with the weird Jinn thing, Zucchini or whatever. He never talks to me anymore, not since we began this road trip. It's almost as if...he doesn't love me anymore.

And he seemed to be liking this Zacharias guy a lot. Or was it Zephania? Wait that sounded like a girl name...I really didn't care though.

"Hey, Fox." I said, nudging my brother. He ignored me and continued talking.

He ignored me! The nerve!

"Fox!" I shouted in his ear, and he flinched. "What?" he asked angrily. I wanted to smack him so bad, but he was my brother. I couldn't do that. "Why are you talking to Zygapophysis?"

"Who?"

"The Jinn right there."

"Do you have a problem with me talking to him? And his name is Zaastaish, not...whatever you just said."

"Yes., I have a problem. I'm beginning to think you aren't straight. And I don't care about Zendaya."

"Ohmygosh, Arctica, it's Zaastaish. Zay-ah-stay-shh. And why would you think I'm not straight just because I'm talking to a dude?"

"Whatever."

"Do you have a problem with the LGBT community?"

"Yes, I do. They all want attention, and those who actually mean it are disgusting."

"Why? And none of them are seeking attention, it's just who they are. If you think they're disgusting, then keep it to yourself and accept everyone's differences."

"No! They all need to know my opinion, because it's probably the most important. I hope they all go to Hell where they belong. In fact, I think everyone should. Humans, vampires, Jinn, werewolves, all of them. Especially mixed breeds, I don't know how they can live. And--"

"Shut up! Arctica, shut up! I don't care! How many times do all of us have to tell you none of us care! Why do you think nobody has stood up for you? You can be so dense sometimes, I'm beginning to worry it's seeping into my blood!"

I growled and barked, "You don't understand! We--"

"I wish there wasn't a we! It's always us, we, or a they! Arctica, me and you are two different people! I have completely different opinions, lifestyle, ideas! I wish we could just get severed so then I wouldn't have to listen to your wretched voice spouting horrid lies day and night!"

I lost my breath. Everyone in the car was watching us except the cat, who was swaying behind the wheel. I looked back to my brother, who was seething. I used my power to sense if he really meant it, and I was hit with a wave of anger. Nothing else. No regret, sorrow, nothing.

Suddenly the cat screamed and lurched forward, as if reaching for something. We swerved into the next lane, and Quill had to lean over and take control of the wheel as the cat burst into tears and cried out Sketch's name.

"Just follow the speed limit, it exists for a reason." I told her, and the anger in the car rose so much that I could barely breathe. Quill kept us driving with his hand on the wheel, the cat just trembling in her seat, not doing anything. Honestly, she was such a stuck up. All she wanted was attention.

I opened my mouth again, but then my brother clamped his hand over it. I bit him out of reflex, but he didn't take his hand away. I huffed through my nose and looked away, annoyed. Why was he so mean? He's just like everyone else. He's a fake friend, a fake brother.

"Never say wish near a Jinn." Uanai said from behind us, and I swear everyone turned to look at him at the same time. "What? I'm just sayin'."

The cat took her feet from the pedals, and Quill had to quickly put the car in neutral so we slowed down at a natural pace. He was also still driving.

"Hey, Quill, don't you have a wish? Why don't you wish our friends back?" I asked after hitting my brother in the crotch so he could take his hand from my mouth. Zumboni over there is actually giving me chills from the glare he's giving me.

"I do have a wish, but wishes come with a lot of loopholes. I never said when, never said how, never said alive. It would be safer to just have it in case of emergency. Also, I can't use it because they are still under the Hunter's control."

"Yeah, but you could--"

"And I'm with your brother on what he said."

I fell silent, glaring at him. Why was everyone so mean to me? I never did anything! It's all their fault this happened. If they had all just ran faster and not listened to the adults, we wouldn't be in this situation. I know we could have totally caught up with them.

We pulled over on the side of the road, and then everyone poured questions over the cat. "Are you okay? What happened?"

"Why did you scream? Did you see something?"

"Did you have a night-night dream?" said one of the kids. Yeah, as if I would give her the attention she wants.

"What's wrong with Sketch? You called his name."

"You're crying, Kitty, please stop. Be happy."

"Please talk to us, you're scaring me."

I clenched my fists. Don't they see what she's doing? She's super mean, doesn't care about anyone, and is the biggest attention hog I've ever met! She doesn't deserve anything, doesn't deserve to live!

And that's when it hit me. When we got their, I could make an accident. A horrible, sad accident. Everyone will blame her, and she will get all the attention she wants. Though it won't be good.

And if Annelid, Sunny, and Jun-May find out, I hope they'll forgive me.
