YOONGI'S POV

A month had gone by that Jihyun and I had been seeing each other and he's been so amazing. He said the research and trial are going great and that they will be doing the first surgery soon.

I had been very conflicted though, Jihyun reminds me of Jimin more and more every day. The way he speaks, the way he laughs, the way he would kiss me and hold me was exactly the way Jimin would. I just didn't understand how it was possible.

We haven't gone to the next level though. I was too nervous to blindly have sex with him. I wanted to, but I was too afraid I wouldn't do good since I couldn't see. We talked about it and he didn't mind waiting at all and I loved that he didn't pressure me.

I was always wanting to be with him but he was busy at the hospital but he would always answer my phone calls when he had a chance.

"Tonight I'm taking you out in a real date. I haven't taken you because of this busy schedule but it's time now. Wear your best suit, I'm taking you to the best place." Jihyun said over the phone but I didn't know if I wanted to go out to somewhere so nice.

"I don't know if I wanna go out to a fancy restaurant. I'd be so out of place."

"No you won't. Trust me okay?"

"Okay...what time?"

"Be ready by 7." He said and hung up.

Suddenly I felt excited to get back into that. I used to be the one to take Jimin out to fancy places and then Jihyun was the one taking me. I was sure it would be fun. I was starting to really like Jihyun and started to think less about Jimin, I was starting to move on.

My mother helped me get ready for the night. She picked out the best suit for me and I trusted her because she always had an amazing taste.
She helped me do my hair and get all good looking for my date.

"I want you to be careful okay?" She said but I didn't know what she meant.

"Why? Jihyun is amazing mom. I'm so glad I met him. I'm so glad you took me to him. Who knew this would happen."

"I know, I know. Just don't want anything to happen to you again."

"Well he's a doctor," I said and smiled, "he's gonna be a world renowned surgeon. I'm proud."

"I am too. Now, let's go downstairs because you're gonna be late. You should let Jihyun take your car."

"No...I don't want to offend him."

"I don't want my son to show up to that restaurant in an economy car though."

"Oh mother, it's fine. It doesn't matter." I said and took Cali and headed downstairs.

I left Cali at home tonight and headed out to my door where Jihyun was already waiting.

"Yoongi did you maybe want to take your car? I don't know if you're willing to show up with my piece of shit car."

I was taken aback, I guess my mother was just ahead of the game.

"If you want to. I don't want to offend you Jihyun."

"You'll never offend me. Which way to your car?"

"In the garage. We can take my Beamer." I said and then my mother came out handing me the keys to it.

Jimin got in the car after helping me get in and we drove off. I hadn't been in that car in forever, I missed the smell of my leather seats and the feeling of my own car. It had been so long since I've driven and I really wished I could.
